Pre-requisite;

1. Install SW (WinFIOL or Putty or CMD)


2. Install FTP server (MSFTPSRVR)
3. Create new folder at C:\SIU (to store SIU script and upgrade SW)

SW to be store in C:\SIU

1. siu02_sw.tar (SIU sw upgrade)


2. Given by ATND SIU script file in XML format (egg; [Link])

Configure MSFTPSRVR;

User : siu
Password : siu
Root path : c:\SIU (new folder)

Configure laptop IP;

IP address : 192 168 1 2


Subnet mask : 255 255 255 0
Default gateway : 192 168 1 1

“Basic Start”
1. Disable Firewall/Anti-Virus/Symantec (E/// laptop)
2. Run MSFTPSRVR (start server)
3. Connect LAN cable (straight) laptop > SIU (console port)
4. Start WinFiol or Putty or CMD
Eg: for CMD

C:\users\administrator\telnet [Link]

Username: admin
Password: hidden

# Reset SIU to Factory Default #

1. Perform “Basic Start”

2. Run command as below

OSMon>resettofactorysetting
Warning: All user settings will be removed, continue (ok/cancel)?

OSMon>ok

SIU will restart and lost communication for a while (approximately 2 minutes)

Once SIU back to normal state (LED Power, Operational and Information turn ON), please login
again – <telnet [Link]>

3. To check current revision SW


OSmon>rev

# Upgrade SIU SW #

1. Perform “Basic Start”

2. Run command as below;


OSMon>uselocalsftp on
OSMon>startswsession 1
OSMon>downloadsw 1 s[Link]

3. Verify the session


OSMon>getswsessionstatus 1
Results as below
Download Completed
Operation Succeeded

4. Activate the SW after download completed


OSMon>activatesw 1
SIU will restart and lost communication for a while

Once SIU back to normal state (LED Power, Operational and Information turn ON), please login
again – <telnet [Link]>

5. Verify the new SW

# Load Configuration Script #

1. Perform “Basic Start”

2. Run command as below;

3. Verify the session

OSMon>getsessionstatus 1

Operation Succeeded

4. Activate the script after download completed

SIU will restart and lost communication for a while.
