ⅰ) ১ কম ক&খচত হচব বযক ট ককযন আকযচ আচছ বযক ট হ য কবযধক থযকচ) উত হচব
নয কবযধক আ নয কবযধক থযকচ) উত হচব হ য কবযধক|
There are 2 kind's of Tag questions
1)Neg. Tag
Aux.+not+sub+?
2)Affir. Tag
Aux.+sub+?
Ex. She is reading a book, isn't she?
he is not reading a book, is sher.
কসযচন ১ম বযক ট হ য কবযধক তযই এ উও হচব নয কবযধক। গঠন অনয য় ১ ম auxi
verb আচগ ঢয প not এব0 কশচ ? রচহ। আব র, ২য় বযক ট নয কবযধক তযই এ উত হচব
হ য কবযধক| গঠন অনযযয়5 ১ কম auxi verb + কশচ (?) রচহ। আ র is not কক স0র6পভযচব

এখন এখযচন isn't নয র&চয় aren't র&)যম কয ণ আম য জযরন ককযন শচব কশচ body
থযকচ) they হয়। আর they হচ)য 3rd person তযই they এ সযচথ isn't নয বচস
aren't বসচছ|
vi) someone is calling me aren't they
এটযও আচগ টয মচতযই|
vii) one should do ones duty shouldn't one?
viii) Honesty is the best policy. isn't it?
ix) I, you and he are responsible, aren't we?
x) you and he are guilty aren't you?

বযক ট চয়চছ pre. Ind tense আ কশচ S/es চয়চছ। s/es থযকচ) আম য does
বসযচবয। এখ নন ম ন V নযই তযই does র&চত হচয়চছ।

থযকচ) = we হচব।
* All of them, some of them, many of them. বযচক কশচ of them থযকচ) =
they হচব|
*some of you, All of you, many of you ইত যর& থযকচ) = you হচব |
Rule-01
কতগচ)য শব চয়চছ কযগচ)য Negative অথ> পকযশ কচ । ময ন: hardly rarely,
bearly, few, little, scarcely, Nobody, No one, None, Nothing, Nowhere, no,
never Not only, but also, seldom, neither...nur ইত যর& |
এগচ)য যর& ককযন বযচক থযচক তযহচ) কস বযক ট Negative হচব আ উত হচব
positive বয হ য? কবযধক |
Ex. He hardly comes to my house, does he?
এখযচন auxi verb কনই, আম য জযরন, auxi verb নয থযকচ) do, does
did র&চত হয়। মযন ত ব ট pre. Ind tense এব0 কশচ S যক আচছ, তযই does হচয়চছ|
• I have a few pens, have I?
• No one is present, are they?
আরম আচগই বচ)রছ they এ সযচম সবসময় are বচস।
Rule-2
ককযন ককযন বযচক একযরধক Sub' কযমন as well as, along with, together with,
followed by, accompanied by ও and not দয য যক থযকচ) ১ম sub অনযযয়5 tag
হচব|

এখযচন, Rahim হচচ ১ম sub ও his brothers হচচ ২য় sub, বযচক মচধ as well
as চয়চছ, রনয়ম অনসযচ বযচকয as well as থযকচ) ১ম. sub অনসযম5 tag, ১ম sub
হচচ Rahim কসচহত Rahim কছচ) তযই he হচব। আর ব ন মযন ত auxi verb কনই এব0
কশচ (s) যক আচছ তযই doesn't হচয়চছ। ব ট হ মব ধ ঢ ই উতনর doesn't হচয়চছ, নয
কবযধক হচ) উতচ does হচতয |
ii) salma along with here sisteres will come. won't she?.
salma হচচ ১ম sub ও her sisters হচচ ২য় sub, বযচক along with চয়চছ, তযই
১ম sub অনযযয়5 tag হচব, salma একট কমচয় তযই she হচব। মযন ত aux verb will
আচছ, কসচহত do, dees, did বসযচত হচব নয। ব ট হ মব ধ ত ই উতর নয়ন! মব ধ ।

Rule-3
কত গচ)য বযচক Not only.... but also, Either---on, Neither nor, whether,
or....দয য যক থযকচ) 2nd sub অনযযয়5 tag হচব |
iii) Ex. i) Either she or her brother Sings a song doesn't she?
এখযচন, she হচ)য ১ম sub her brother হচ)য 2nd sub, বযচক Eithere
আচছ, তযই 2nd sub. অনযযয়5 tag হচব। her brother এট কছচ) মযন ঢযই he হচব।
বযচক কশচ (s) যক চয়চছ। ঢ ই doesn't হচব |
Rule-4
Imperative sentense থযকচ) :
Tag এ রনয়ম:
i) let's/let us = shall we
অন যন থযকচ) = will you
* আম য কযভযচব বঝব এট Imperative sentense:
কচনয উপযয় !
Sub থযকচবনয
ii) v., Be, Please kindly, always, Never, let, let's, Don't ইত যর& দয য যক
থযকচব। এ থ য় বল য য় sub দয য বযক শরহচব নয. বয অন রকছ দয য বযক শরহচব |
Ex.i) Be careful, will you?
এইসব বযচক let's ও let'us দয য শরহচ) shall we বসচব আ এই &ইট ছযড়য ককযন
বযক শরহচ) will you
ii) please help me, will you ?.
iii) Let's walk, shall we?
Tag এ ব রতকরম রনয়ম
(ⅰ) পবয& বযচক থযকচ) isn't it?
Ex. All well that ends well, isn't it?
কয ককযন পকয wish থযকচ) don't I?
a) Good morning dont I?
b) Happy birthday, don't I?
sub ও verb ছযড়য exclamatorcy sentence থযকচ) isn't it ?
Ex. wow! isnt it?
How nice! isn't it
iv) ককযন বযচক যর& long live may দয য শরহয় তযহচ) may n't + Sub বচস
a)long live our king, mayn't he?
b) May Allah bless you, mayn't Her?
