PRODUCTIVITY RATES FOR CONSTRUCTION ACTIVITIES

Produc�vity rates for construc�on ac�vi�es can vary widely depending on factors such as the
type of project, loca�on, labor skill, equipment availability, and site condi�ons. Below is a
general guide for some common construc�on ac�vi�es, but keep in mind that these are
approximate and should be adjusted based on your specific project condi�ons.

1. Earthwork

• Excava�on (Manual)

o Produc�vity: 1-2 cubic meters per worker per day

• Excava�on (Mechanical)

o Produc�vity: 150-200 cubic meters per excavator per day

• Backfilling

o Produc�vity: 15-20 cubic meters per worker per day

2. Concrete Work

• Formwork (Timber)

o Produc�vity: 5-10 square meters per carpenter per day
