DataFromSky's TrafficEmbedded is an advanced solution that transforms any IP camera into a smart
traffic sensor through on-board deep video analytics. Housed in a robust, weatherproof, and vandal-
resistant enclosure (IP66 rated), the unit ensures durability and reliability in various environments. It
supports Power over Ethernet (PoE) and offers multiple connectivity options, including LTE, LoRa, and
Wi-Fi, facilitating flexible integration into existing infrastructure.
Key Features:
Intersection Applications: Traffic counting and statistics, adaptive traffic control and
management, bicycle and pedestrian presence detection, and traffic violation detection.
Highway Applications: Vehicle categorized counts and flow statistics, wrong-way driving and
stopped vehicle detection, pedestrian and bicycle detection, and gap/safety distance
measuring.
Smart Parking: Occupancy monitoring for individual spots and unmarked areas, parking time
measurement, wrong parking detection, vehicle category, color, and license plate
recognition, along with comprehensive parking statistics.
Active Mobility: Pedestrian counting, bicycle, scooter, and stroller counting, and safety
applications.
At the core of TrafficEmbedded is the FLOW framework, a unified solution for smart traffic, parking,
retail, and security. FLOW analyzes live video streams, detecting and categorizing all objects while
tracking their movements. This enables real-time monitoring of trajectories, speeds, and passage
times, providing a comprehensive overview of traffic situations.
How It Works:
1. Video Capture: An IP camera captures the scene and sends the video data via an RTSP
stream to the TrafficEmbedded unit.
2. Data Analysis: The on-board FLOW AI engine analyzes the video stream, extracting valuable
traffic data.
3. Data Utilization: The extracted insights can be sent to a FLOW Insights dashboard, shared via
open API to smart city platforms or LED signs, or used as a basis for signal/traffic light
control.
The TrafficEmbedded unit is powered by an NVIDIA Xavier processor and comes equipped with LoRa,
LTE, and Wi-Fi modules, all enclosed in a robust IP66 anti-vandal box for maximum resilience.
