Good evening everyone,
Respected teachers, dear friends, and all the wonderful people gathered here,
Before anything, I have a poetry which I wrote when I realized it is the end. It goes like,
A Goodbye to Remember
Ten years have passed, and now it’s time,
To say goodbye, to leave behind.
The classrooms, the laughter, the morning bell,
The place we called home—we know it so well.
The desks we carved, the walls we drew,
Hold stories of us that still feel new.
The games we played, the pranks we tried,
The moments of joy, the times we cried.
Teachers who taught us more than books,
With gentle words and caring looks.
Friends who stood by, through thick and thin,
Who made us laugh, who helped us win.
Now as we walk out that final door,
Our hearts are heavy, but ready for more.
No matter where life takes us from here,
This place, these days, will always be near.
So here’s a hug, a tear, a smile,
A farewell that stays for a long, long while.
We may leave, but we won’t forget,
The best years of life—we'll cherish them yet.
Today is an emotional day for all of us. As we stand on the threshold of a new journey, we look back
at the unforgettable memories we have created in the corridors, classrooms, and playgrounds of
East West Public School. These years have been the most important days of my life, and I feel both
grateful and nostalgic as I share my experiences with you all.
East West Public School has not just been a place of learning but a second home where we laughed,
cried, and grew together. From the very first day, when we stepped into this institution with nervous
excitement, to this moment when we bid farewell, every moment has been a lesson, every
experience a treasure.
I have been fortunate to find friends who have stood by me through thick and thin. We have shared
notes, lunch boxes, secrets, and dreams. We have celebrated victories together and consoled each
other in difficult times. These friendships are the most valuable gifts that I will carry forward in life.
Our teachers have been our guiding light, shaping us into the individuals we are today. Their
patience, wisdom, and unwavering support have made learning a joyful experience. They have
taught us not just subjects but values, discipline, and the courage to face challenges. I extend my
heartfelt gratitude to all my mentors who have played a crucial role in my journey.
As we move forward to chase our dreams, let us remember the lessons we have learned here—
kindness, teamwork, and the spirit of never giving up. Though we may step into different paths, the
bond we share will always remain. This farewell is not a goodbye; it is a promise to meet again, to
cherish our memories, and to stay connected no matter where life takes us.
Thank you, East West Public School, for giving me the best years of my life. Thank you, my dear
friends, teachers and non teaching staff, for making this journey so special. I will forever be proud to
be a part of this family.
