possibili�es. Southern Hills Chris�an College aims to synergize the power of language and
scien�fic inquiry, encouraging students to embrace the wonders of both disciplines.
Leading up to and throughout Book/Science Week, our school will be transformed into a
cap�va�ng hub of crea�vity and innova�on. Students will be inspired to read not only
fic�onal adventures but also thought-provoking scien�fic literature, fusing the art of
storytelling with the precision of scien�fic facts.
Imagine classic tales reimagined with a scien�fic twist, where characters venture into
parallel dimensions, unravel the mysteries of the universe, and experiment with the limits of
human poten�al.
Book/Science Week 2023 will not only encourage students to think cri�cally but also foster a
sense of wonder and curiosity that transcends disciplinary boundaries. As they explore the
interconnectedness of English and Science, they'll discover that knowledge knows no bounds

Design a Survival Kit - Prepare Your Hero for Adventure!"
In this activity, you will use your creativity and problem-solving skills to design a survival kit
for the character from the story you wrote in English class.
Your character only has a few minutes to grab items to for their survival kit. You may only
choose 10 items from the list below.
Indicate the items you chose by marking a tick () in the box next to the items.
