Scene 1: Ali's Room (The curtain rises to reveal a cluttered bedroom. Ali is sitting on his bed,
looking frustrated. He tosses his schoolbag on the floor as his father enters.)
Father: (calmly) Ali, you look upset. What’s wrong?
Ali: (sighs) I don’t know, Baba. I just feel so... lost. School is a mess. I don’t listen in class, I
make fun of others, and I’m always in trouble.
Father: (sits beside him) Hmm. Tell me more. What do you usually do at school?
Ali: (hesitant) Well, I ignore homework, tease classmates, and sometimes cheat in tests. I get
angry easily, and I’m always jealous of kids who are better than me. I can’t stop thinking about
fun stuff, like eating junk food or playing games. (pauses) I know it’s wrong, but I can’t help it.
Father: (thoughtfully) Ali, it seems like you’re being influenced by something powerful. I think
you’ve fallen prey to the Seven Deadly Sins.
Ali: (confused) Seven Deadly Sins? What do you mean?
Father: Let me show you. (stands up and gestures) Imagine if these sins appeared in front of
you. What would they say?
(Lights dim. Dramatic music plays as seven figures emerge on stage, each representing a sin.
They stand in a semicircle around Ali.)
Scene 2: The Appearance of the Sins
Pride: (stepping forward, arrogantly) I am Pride! I make you think you’re better than everyone
else. You’re too good to follow rules, aren’t you, Ali?
Ali: (nervously) Maybe... sometimes.
Envy: (slyly) I am Envy. I whisper in your ear, making you jealous of your classmates. Why
should they have what you don’t?
Wrath: (angrily) I am Wrath! I fuel your anger and make you lash out at others. Doesn’t it feel
good to explode?
Sloth: (yawning) I am Sloth. I make you lazy and unmotivated. Homework? Too much effort.
Why bother?
Greed: (grinning) I am Greed. I make you crave more—money, things, attention. It’s never
enough, is it?
Gluttony: (holding snacks) I am Gluttony. I tempt you with excess—too much food, too much
fun, too much of everything.
Lust: (vainly adjusting their appearance) I am Lust. I distract you with superficial desires
making you search the profane and immoral content. Who cares about real goals when you can
chase quick pleasures?
(Ali looks overwhelmed, staring at the sins around him.)
Father: (stepping forward) Ali, these sins are controlling your thoughts and actions. But
remember, you have the power to overcome them. Each of these sins has a virtue that can defeat
it.
Ali: (timidly) Virtues? What are they?
Father: (pointing to each sin) Humility defeats Pride. Gratitude conquers Envy. Patience calms
Wrath. Diligence overcomes Sloth. Generosity counters Greed. Temperance balances Gluttony.
And Love replaces Lust.
(The sins react dramatically, as if weakened by the mention of virtues.)
Father: You must choose, Ali. Will you let these sins rule your life, or will you strive to
embrace these virtues?
Ali: (standing up, determined) I want to change, Baba. I’ll try to be better.
Father: (smiling) That’s the first step, my son. Recognizing your flaws and deciding to improve
is the beginning of true strength.
(The sins retreat into the shadows, defeated. The stage lights brighten, symbolizing hope.)
Scene 3: A New Beginning
(The next day. Ali is at his desk, focused on his homework. His father enters quietly, smiling as
he sees the change.)
Ali: (looking up) Baba, I’m working on my math. It’s tough, but I’m trying.
Father: (proudly) That’s my boy. Remember, it’s not about being perfect. It’s about trying to be
better every day.
(They share a warm hug as the curtain falls.)
