• PRELIMINARIES (Reminders: Make an effort to act naturally; create a motivating

Good morning/ afternoon!

I am _________________, Chairperson of the Work Immersion Interview Committee for GAS/


ABM/ HUMSS/ STEM. With me are the members of the committee: _______________,
_______________, _________________, and _________________.

Please understand that this interview is part of your Work Immersion activities, and this will run
for about 15 to 30 minutes. The first few minutes will cover a brief review of what you have written in your
application letter and your resume. Then, we will ask some questions to get details of your experiences as
student-leaders or as school representatives in competitions; we want to hear about your involvement in
school activities and how you have accomplished your tasks when you got involved. We will also be
listening to your stories of successes and failures and how you managed them.

Moving on, we would also ask you about your special skills, your interests, and your advocacies
that are creating impact among your classmates, friends, schoolmates, teachers and the community.

We will be taking notes to document important details of your answers so that we will not miss
anything.

In every area of competency in which this interview is designed, we will be throwing one question
for everybody but then each of us in the panel can ask follow-through questions depending on your answer.

of the academic strand you are in? What did you discover about this choice in terms of your
ability?

Tell us what you have been doing in terms of prioritizing and putting a balance in your academics
and extra-curricular involvement in school, and in making time at home with your family.

conflicting issues when accomplishing a specific task if only to maintain your good class standing?
How did you handle the situation and what was the result of your decision?
