SUBJECT: Progress Report, Re: Robbery Incident

DATE : January 31, 2025


1. Reference: Spot report from Police Station 4 (Sangandaan), Caloocan City Re;
Robbery Incident along SM mall sangandaan Caloocan City.

[Link] pertains to the Robbery Incident along SM mall sangandaan, At about 3:45 PM of
January 31, 2025, at SM Sangandaan Caloocan City. The suspect was identified as
DARWEN MAKABENTA 25 years old (DOB: December 18, 1999), male, single,
presently residing at No. 140- A PNR COMPOUND Samson Road. Sangandaan, Brgy
73, Caloocan City while the victim was identified as MON ANDRIE SERRANO y DAET
24 years old (DOB: September 14, 2000), male, single, and presently residing of 1234
Brgy. 3 Kalayaan St. Sangandaan Caloocan City.

[Link] investigation disclosed that at about 5:30 PM of January 31, 2025 personnel
from Police Station 4 (Sangandaan), Caloocan City Police Station the case of Robbery
Incident near at SM Sangandaan Caloocan City

4. Based on the report submitted by SS4 of CCPS, it appears that at about 4:30 PM of
January 31, 2025, they received a report coming from the witness, identified as MIEL
BRYAN CANTERO y De Pedro 21 years old (DOB; February 18, 2003), male, single,
and presently residing of 9101 Brgy. 3 Bonifacio Avenue St. Sangandaan Caloocan
City.

The suspect forcibly took the following items from the victim:

1. 5,000 cash
2. Smartphone (coming from the victim)

5. Personnel from Sub Station 4, CCPS led by Pcpl Rommel Tadioan and Pat Richard
Rabago with SS-4, CCPS and conducted a thorough investigation pertaining to this
case, they proceeded to the alleged place of incident for ocular investigation and
managed to obtain a testimony named MIEL BRYAN Cantero, Sangandaan, Caloocan
City claiming that a case of Robbery incident was transpired at about 3:45 PM of
January 31, 2025, they also showed a CCTV footages wherein, the suspect
immediately arrested at the same day. The suspect Darwen Makabenta is currently
detained at Caloocan City Police Station Pending further investigation and arraignment.

6. With the thorough investigation conducted by this Station, which supported by


testimony of the witness and pieces of evidence recovered. This Station took
cognizance of the case, and an appropriate charge will be filed against the suspect.

7. Disposition: This case will be referred to Caloocan City Prosecutors Office thru
inquest proceedings. IOC’s: PSSg Mike Cruz 09246810121, PSSg Kenneth Ocampo
(09131516179) of IDMS-CCPS.
