Used as a reference for calibration or as a
precision measuring tool to compare
lengths.
Micrometer
Often used for measuring small dimensions
with high accuracy, such as the thickness or
diameter of a component. It’s available in
outside, inside, and depth versions.
Feeler Gauge
A set of metal blades of various thicknesses,
used for measuring gaps or clearances
between two parts.
Height Gauge
A vertical measuring instrument used to
measure the height of a workpiece or to
mark out workpieces with precision.
Dial Indicator
Used to measure small linear distances,
variations, and deviations in a workpiece
or machine part, often used for checking
run-out or flatness.
Vernier Caliper
Used to measure internal and external
dimensions, as well as depths, with high
precision. It has a main scale and a sliding
