Why are you interested in joining the IISMA Entrepreneur program, and how will you
apply your knowledge to develop entrepreneurship in Indonesia after completing this
program? * up to 350 words
My tutoring journey started In 2022 when my father passed away and I faced financial hurdles
which led to the threat of not continuing my study. Little did I know, there are also thousands of
Indonesian students facing similar threats every year. At the same time, I recognize the need
for affordable and up-to-date tutoring of various Jalur Mandiri PTN exams that keeps changing
its system every year. With that in mind, I decided to follow my parents path as teachers and
initiated Afterschul Education. A platform that aims to support university students financially by
tutoring highschool students with first-hand experience in college entrance exams.
In Afterschul, we committed to offering affordable tutoring services, delivered by mentors who
have first-hand experience with Indonesia’s dynamic university entrance exams. Our
innovative approach includes a comprehensive annually updated curriculum and an interactive
Learning Management System (LMS). Our team of six dedicated mentors from top Indonesian
universities has successfully supported over 30 alumni across West Java and Jabodetabek
area. Other than tutoring, we also actively create educational content on TikTok
([Link] where over 4800 students have benefited from our free
mock-up tests. As our tutoring service is 50% cheaper compared to conventional programs,
we received overwhelming demand that we could not accommodate due to our limited human
resources.
Through IISMA-E program I see an excellent opportunity to enhance my entrepreneurial skill
from countries with top-notch education systems and thriving startup environments. The
University of Melbourne, located in an area with over 20 universities and the second-largest
startup hub in Australia, has a track record of fostering successful startup ecosystems and
globally renowned educational curricula. With this supportive environment, I am eager to learn
effective business models and strategies for managing Afterschul growth. Especially learning
how to raise resources to transform Afterschul into an educational technology startup. After
completing IISMA-E, my short-term plan is to enhance Afterschul's resources and capabilities
to meet the increasing demand. In the long run, my goal is to establish Afterschul as an
enterprise that ensures that no Indonesian students are left behind in the pursuit of education.

Please elaborate on your current physical and mental health, including any dental or
oral treatment, medical interventions, and mental health therapy or counseling. *
As I live far from home to study, I realize the importance of taking care of my health. I’m
grateful to say that currently, I’m in a robust state of my physical and mental health. To
maintain a viable condition I take vitamins regularly while actively exercising once a week
whether it's running or walking around my neighborhood. On top of that, I now steer clear of
any social situations involving smoking. I had experienced respiratory symptoms as I was a
passive smoker, nonetheless I never got hospitalized. However, I am prepared with regular
medicine prescribed by a doctor to prevent potential issues. Fortunately, I’ve been declared
healthy and with that in mind now I’m more conscious of my health. As for my mental health, I
prioritize self-care and actively managing my stress. When it comes to stress management I
often organize my daily tasks through a priority scale where I prioritize a day off every
weekend to reconnect with myself. I am aware that as a full-time student and entrepreneur
maintaining my psych condition is crucial while facing tons of activities. In addition, fostering
active and open communication with my friends and family is vital to control my emotional
well-being. For my oral health, my 6-month dental check-up routine comes in handy to my
healthy oral condition. In summary, I believe that my health will not affect my IISMA
entrepreneurship journey in the future.
