ANALYZE
The English Teacher is responsible for the learning resources center’s upkeep and maintenance. It
also acts as a classroom for her. Except for the books and dictionaries, all of the other materials are
properly organized. When using them, young students can get a little rowdy. As a result, I impose that
students be taught hurdling of all learning materials available in the learning resource center at the start of
the semester.

Do the guideline and procedures facilitate easy access to the materials by the teachers? Why? Why not?
When it comes to the use of resources, such as microphones, speakers and projectors, these are all closely
monetized. The teachers who want to borrow the materials sign up on a borrow slip, indicating when they
will return the materials. This is particularly important in order to avoid the loss of these educational
materials.

What are the strengths of this Learning Resources Center? The main strength of the learning resource
center, through the efforts of the teachers, is its attractiveness to students. A lot of pictures are being on
the walls, which serve learning materials for the students. The ICT resources are also well-maintained.

What are its weaknesses? The weakness is its small physical size. Because of the growing numbers of
students, it is difficult for them to find a place in the learning resource center. Furthermore, it serves as
extension English classroom, making it even smaller.

What suggestions can you make? I recommend that the students take turns using the learning resource
center because they each have their own classroom. It’s likely that they’ll able to do it by grade. I also
recommend that the teacher take turns monitoring the learning resource center to avail it being used as an
English classroom. I’m hoping that classes will not be hold these because it should be conduce to
learning.

REFLECT

1. The ICT resources are the learning resources interest that has piqued my interest. We are living in the
modern era today. Every aspect of our lives is influences by technology. In teaching-learning process,
students are more engaged in class discussion when ICT resources are used. The students are drawn to it
they enjoyed using computers and the internet, smart TV extremely useful in demonstrating a lesson to
students. This is why I’m particularly interest in ICT class.
2. Print resource (books and dictionaries), audio resources (microphones and speakers), non-electronic
visual resources (pictures, whiteboard, blackboard, chalk and whiteboard pens), and ICT resources are the
gadgets. Materials that that I’m already confident to use/operate through the discussions in my secondary
level, these materials became simple for me to use. I consider myself computer literate because I can
create msword, ppt, excel, that I can use in teaching. The other materials are easy and adaptable to use.

3. I believe the learners materials that I need to learn more about is the SMART TV. I know how to use it
to present a ppt, but I’m not completely aware of its other applications. These are some parts that I have
yet to discover. Fortunately, I’m just getting started with it and I’ll be able to manipulate it easily in a few
days. I know how useful SMART TV can be in the classroom, which is why I want to learn how to use it.

In which level of technology integration do you think the teacher you observed operated? Why?
In terms of technology integration, I believe the class I observed is at level 5 or "transformation stage,"
according to the technology integration matrix. During the transformation stage, the teacher creates a rich
learning environment in which students participate in activities that would be impossible to complete
without the use of technology or on a regular basis without the use of technology. As I had noticed, the
teacher demonstrated the supply and demand lesson to the class using YouTube. The teachers also used
the slide presentation to provide handouts to his students. In my opinion, if the teacher only uses the
traditional method, the class objective will not be met.

Based on the Technology Integration Matrix, what is the characteristic of the learning environment...

The learning environment in the class that I observed was highly divided, which means that rather than
simply completing assessments, there was a lot of discussion. Students use technology to set objectives,
plan activities, track progress, and assess outcomes. As I had observed, the teacher provided immediate
feedback to the students after each individual activity, allowing them to defend and explain how they
arrived at their conclusions. The teacher encourages his students to think creatively and outside the box
by being receptive to their original ideas, even if they are not based on class discussion.

Over-all, were the learning resources used effectively?...

Overall, the educational resources are excellent! The teacher is a pro at incorporating technology into her
lessons. She used the information she discovered on YouTube in the classroom. The teacher was able to
make effective use of all resources so that the students could enjoy, listen to, and participate in the
discussion. The majority of students received perfect scores, and none of them received a failing grade.
The teacher also provides a cost-effective way to start the class by dancing and singing in the video
presentation. In a nutshell, the learning resources are put to good use.

REFLECT

1. Put yourself in the place of the teacher...

If I were the teacher, I would try to emulate her enthusiasm and mastery of using technology in the
classroom, such as a laptop, computer, and projector, to ensure that the lesson runs smoothly. Her
approach is efficient, thorough, precise, and up-to-date, allowing students to achieve their full potential.
She approaches her class with the belief that the students are the curriculum's center or focus. If I were to
teach the same class again, one thing I would do differently is to have already downloaded the videos
from YouTube because the video on YouTube became lagged and stopped abruptly sometime during the
presentation in class. There is a slight pause in the momentum of her discussion due to our country's
internet connectivity. The teacher's overall performance, on the other hand, was excellent and ideal for the
students.

1. The topic of the lesson is Interpersonal Communication. The following are the teacher’s
objectives:

 describe and identify the interpersonal communication situations;

 use interpersonal communication strategies in a situation
 appreciate the significance of active listening in enhancing interpersonal
communication.

2. The teacher organizes the lesson by igniting their curiousity then presenting the lesson. She organizes
the activities very well that are aligned to the topic and objectives.

3. Accuracy, cleverness, critical thinking, and inquisitiveness are the skills that the teacher is instilling in
the students. All of these abilities are required for the topic.

1. In surfing the internet for appropriate electronic resources for the class, I must first read the resource
outline by Google. And then I must determine whether it is relevant to my topic. Yes, it is difficult but
with the help of various machines, it can be made relatively simple.

2. When selecting an electronic resource, the one numerous factors to consider is the appropriateness-
choosing the best resources for the students that are accessible and also related to the topic. We should
also consider the 5 principles in selecting the instructional materials because those electronic resources
can also be our instructional tool in the classroom.

3. If I had to rate myself, I would say that I already have good computer skills and has knowledge in

While the technology is still improving, the learning experience is both enjoyable and satisfying.
From my personal perspective, there are areas that stand out for different /MCC providers: Forum

HCOCS?

HOCCs give teachers a chance to see how other teachers work. I have always believed in the
value of learning about pedagogy from observing other teachers. If they are good, you might decide to
emulate them: if they are bad, you might try to avoid repeating their mistakes. In the case of HOOCS, I
am not referring to the instructor-created video lectures: I am referring to the entire course experience. As
a future educator this was one of my main reasons why I need to participate in NOCCs. They allow me to
observe how they are designed and taught, and to learn from how other participants react.

2.
3. Technology and education have become increasingly intertwined in recent years, and nearly every
teacher has a few favorite tech tools that make doing their job and connecting with students a little bit
easier and more enjoyable for everyone involved.

However, as with anything related to technology, new tools are constantly hitting the market, and older
ones are rising to prominence, broadening their scope or simply adding new features that make them
better matches for education, making it difficult for even the most tech-savvy teachers to keep up with the
newest and most useful tools.

These educational tools can help you to make lessons fun, interesting, and more effective.

 Khan Academy: Many teachers use this excellent collection of math, science, and finance lectures
and quizzes to supplement their classroom materials.
 Socrative: Available for computers, mobile devices, and tablets, this student response system engages
students through games and exercises on any device they have on hand. Even better, teachers can
easily assess student progress and track grades.
 QR Codes: QR codes (or quick response codes) are showing up with greater frequency in education.
If you’d like to get in on the trend, you’ll need a tool to create and manage the codes like Delivr and
one to read codes, like any of those listed on this site.
 TED-Ed: TED isn’t just a great place to find inspiration anymore, the site also contains numerous
videos that are organized by subject and can help you to teach everything from how pain relievers
work to Shakespearean insults.
 Google Education: Google offers a number of great edtech resources for teachers, including email
and collaborative apps, videos, lesson plan search, professional development, and even educational
grants.

4. About EdTechTeacher: For more than a decade we have worked with tens of thousands of educators
across the U.S. and throughout the world. Over the past few years, we have diversified our offerings and
expanded our team, but our mission remains the same: to create relationships with educators to support
their quest to enrich student learning experiences through emerging technologies and innovative models
of classroom instruction.

Example: If you choose the course, “Advanced Google Classroom,” this asynchronous, self-paced course
includes tutorials and activities on graded quizzes, rubrics, and extensions to enhance Google Classroom
for students and teachers.
5. Canva for Education is the learning-based extension of Canva, where interactive, immersive teaching
and learning can take place virtually. In times when gathering students in a classroom isn’t possible or
remote learning has become preferable, Canva for Education can help facilitate a learning environment
that mimics the educational continuity, access, and structure that makes traditional schools so important.
In short: It’s a way of continuing your classes and lessons online, without having slow, clunky technology
getting in the way.

Canva for Education is perfect for a teacher or educator who is switching to remote working or online
classes, as well as those who want to strengthen classroom creativity. The main benefit is that educators
—and all their students—can access this platform for free, with no limits on offerings or time.

It’s also helpfully compatible with platforms you’re already using, including Dropbox, Google Drive, and
Google Classroom, so signing up doesn’t mean giving up processes you’ve created and streamlined
elsewhere. With easy-to use-design features and single sign-on for easy student access, Canva for
Education is built for everyone.

As a tool for teaching, it’s also great at encouraging creativity, enhancing collaboration and streamlining
work.
