Path Structure Worksheet

In this action item you will be creating your path structure and the first steps you need to take to
begin walking your path. Here you will note down what you offer, how you can package it in the
world in a way that aligns with your Career Archetype and choose a layout that fits you and the
life you wish to lead.
Section 1: Career Path Layout
1. Which career path layout did you choose?
a. The Solo Act Layout – People who fit into this layout are often on contracts, run
their own business by themselves or do freelance work.
b. The Collaboration Layout – People who prefer this layout will focus only on their
craft and little else.
c. The Founders Layout – Perfect for people who have a vision of changing the
world and enjoy the business side of the work.
d. The Contributors Layout – People who prefer stability, regularity and working in
bigger organisations.
2. What does your Career Archetype offer to the world? I.e. Futurists offer future
possibilities.
3. Using questions 1 and 2, spend a moment daydreaming about what you can offer the
world as you live your Career Archetype. Let your mind wander into beautiful
possibilities. Write down what you day dreamed about.
4. Using your daydream, your Career Archetype and everything from your unearthing i.e.
core power and Main Pursuit, craft an offer that feels aligned. I.e. offer 1:1 online
consultations with people about their past lives or offer my Anime paintings for purchase
via digital downloads.
5. Do you need further education to accomplish this? If yes, note down what you need. If
not, you have completed this section.

Section 2: First Steps
1. Knowing your Career Archetype, Main Pursuit and career path layout, brainstorm a list of
results that you would like to achieve in your career path.
2. From your list, choose 1-3 results that you’re most drawn towards. They should evoke a
feeling of deep desire or excitement or drive. I.e. Make my first documentary feature film.
Note: You want to keep this under 3 for now. You can always come back to other results
later in life once these ones are done.
3. For each result you have chosen, write out a list of the first 3-5 steps you need to take to
begin getting closer to the result happening.
I.e.
1. Research online courses.
2. Choose a course that teaches the exact result I’m seeking to achieve.
3. Save enough money to take the course.
4. Are you going to use any of the following in transitioning into your path? Check the
relevant boxes.
Stepping stones (full-time, part-time, freelancer)
Slow transition
Fast transition
Trial periods
Moving locations
Supported by others
Signs, faith & inner belief
5. List 5 skills you know you need to acquire to better live your Career Archetype. These
can be tangible or intangible skills i.e. video editing is a tangible skill whereas confidence
is intangible.
6. Do you need to take steps to begin quitting your current job within the next 3 months?
Yes
No (if now, proceed to question 8)
7. Using the PDF entitled “How to quit your job” as a guideline, write down your first four
steps to quitting your current job. If you have completed and answered question 7 you
have finished this section and are ready to begin taking action.
8. Using your Career Archetype and your selected career path layout, list your first four
clear steps below.
9. Using the answers from question 3 and question 8, prioritise the first four steps.
Note: that your first four steps may all come from question 8 which is normal but you will
want to keep coming back to the results as they will guide later steps.
10. Go over your current routine in life. Schedule now when you are going to complete and
make room to begin doing each of the steps. If you have a planner, journal or calendar,
make sure to log it in.
