Migration Process
Phase 1: Enable IMAP Access in Zoho Mail
• Log in to Zoho Mail with your admin account.
• Navigate to Settings > IMAP Access and POP/IMAP Migration.
• Enable IMAP access for the account.
Phase 2: Data Migration
1. Data Migration Enablement: Enabling the Data Migration Service within the Google
Workspace admin console.
2. Source Settings: Configure the source settings to connect to Zoho Mail using the
IMAP protocol.
• Enter the server settings for Zoho Mail:
• IMAP server: [Link]
• Port: 993
• SSL: Enabled.
3. User Mapping: Then map corresponding users in Zoho Mail to their respective
accounts in Google Workspace.
4. CSV User Data: Use the specific format mentioned below which is in CSV (Comma-
Separated Values) file contains user information for the migration.
5. Date Range Selection: Select the desired date range for email migration (e.g.,
migrate emails from the past month).
6. Migration Initiation: Start the migration process.
Phase 3: Post-Migration Verification
1. User Account Login: After the migration users can access their migrated email
accounts in Google Workspace.
2. Data Verification: Then users can verify whether the email migration was successful
and all data has been transferred correctly.
3. Email Testing: Test the new email system by sending and receiving emails to ensure
functionality.
