17/10 presentation: electronic journal, has some characteristics match with CMC including AI, 2012 back

to the present, length, why intesting, what ppl doing in the paper, reaction paper: research itself
strength and weakness, your own agreement or disagreement, your critic and comments. No more than
2-3 A4 papers.

Week 6

Find 10 features in Vietnamese langauge on the Internet.

- Kkkkk means smiling

- Teen code: jk = đi make i > j

- Omit homonymous morpheme: luôn -> lun

- Change consonants in the final positions of words to k in type but still pronounce in talking

- using borrowing words and abbreviation: omg, lol, btw to make the sentences shorter

- use the first letter in each words for representing common words: k = không, a = anh, e = em

- use emoticons to make questions instead of using question structural sentences

- use emoticons  to ease sentences with strong feelings

- use icons, “thumb up” to response for simple responses

- consider “seen” as impolite actions

- omit subject and predicate to communicate informally

- using feeling expression for each response
