EXT. - DAY

EXTREME LONG SHOT - NEUTRAL VIEW

The espectador can easily see TWO RESTAURANTS while the

NARRATOR asks the next question.

NARRATOR (V.O.)

What would you choose, a fancy and known

restaurant or a new one? Most of the people

would choose the first one, but they are

still people that want to try something new.

EXT. - DAY

VERY LONG SHOT - NEUTRAL VIEW - ZOOM

As the narrator stops talking, the camera closes up and shows

us two people,a REPORTER and a new entrepreneur with the name

of MICHELLE (A young man of 18 years, a very optimistic person

with big dreams. He also has a passion for cooking. He is kind

and try to make everyone happy)

REPORTER

So tell me, what inspired you to make

such a big step in your life?

After the question of the reporter, MICHAEL starts looking for

a response and when he gets it he says.

MICHAEL

(Motivated)

When I was a kid, my mom always cooked

for me, and her dishes were so delicious

that I was intrigued to cook just

like her.

The REPORTER seems satisfied with that response, but he is

still curious about some other things.

REPORTER

(Curious)

And why start so soon?

Michelle, once again starts thinking how to respond to that,

after all this is an interview where he could win a lot of

clients.

MICHAEL

(Inspired)

Life is not as long as many people

may think, and I refuse to finish

my life without starting my own

restaurant where I can see all

the people leave with a satisfied

smile on their faces.

The image of the two restaurants fade out and now we see a

women on the kitchen listening to the TV that her husband is

watching

INT. KITCHEN - DAY

LONG SHOT - NEUTRAL VIEW - STATIC

REPORTER (V.O)

(Impress)

Here you got it ladies and gentlemen

this new business is here to surprise

you with his delicious dishes made

out of love.

REPORTER

And with that we finish todays report.

Until the next one. Uh, also my name is…

SAM (A young adult of 25 years with a great sense of justice

and also a kind person. Friend of a reporter and fan of the

culinary world) is listening to the TV with interest.

SAM

(Interest)

Wow.

(Shouting)

Hey family let’s go to this new

restaurant next week.

NARRATOR (V.O)

And just like that, the people started

going to Michelle’s business,

thing that made him get excited,

although other businesses didn’t

think the same.

The scene fades out while showing us Christina (A young woman

of 20 years that has been corrupted by capitalism, making her

very ambitious and greedy, a person that can do everything to

achieve her goals and give no importance to the happiness of

others if she is happy.)

INT. OFFICE - NIGHT

LONG SHOT - NEUTRAL VIEW - STATIC

CHRISTINA

(Malevolus)

So there is a new one around. Let’s

see how good he is at this business.

And then she saw a REPORTER crossing in front of her office.

CHRISTINA

(Exigent)

You!

REPORTER

(Confuse)

CHRISTINA

(Angry)

Of course dumbass. Take care of the

new business.

REPORTER

(Scary)

¡Yes Madam!

The scene turns black and now it shows us Michelle’s

restaurant full of people waiting to enter. And the scene then

focuses on RANDOM PERSON 2 talking to RANDOM PERSON 3.

EXT. - DAY

EXTREME LONG SHOT - NEUTRAL VIEW - ZOOM

RANDOM PERSON 2

(Angry)

This is incredible! I have been waiting for half

an hour.

REPORTER

This restaurant isn’t as good as the

people says right?

RANDOM PERSON

(Angry)

Of course not! I don’t think any type

of food deserves this time! Even

if it's just a new and little restaurant!

REPORTER

(Persuasive)

You should leave and tell everyone

the truth, don’t you think?

RANDOM PERSON

Yes! I am going to do that!

The scene changes, now we are in Michael’s restaurant, with

Michelle himself in the scene.

INT. - MICHAEL’S RESTAURANT - DAY

LONG SHOT - NEUTRAL VIEW - STATIC

MICHAEL

No, no, no. I need to do

something, and quick.

Michael says this while seeing that the customers outside were

leaving for the long wait.

INT. - MICHELLE’S RESTAURANT - DAY

EXTREME LONG SHOT - NEUTRAL VIEW - STATIC

MICHAEL

I didn’t think that my restaurant

would get this amount of customers.

I need more employees.

After this affirmation he started putting up some posters

looking for new employees at his restaurant. And while putting

them on, a pair of friends approached to him.

REPORTER

Hey, we saw that you are looking for

some waiters.

SAM

(Interrogative)

Sooo… Can we take the jobs?

MICHAEL

(Happy)

Of course!

(Professional)

Ehm, I say, I need to test you

first.

(Interrogative)

Can you come tomorrow for a

practice day?

REPORTER

(Suggestive)

It doesn’t sound bad, What do you think?

SAM

(Excited)

Let 's do it!

REPORTER

Also my name is…

The scene shuts down and then we see Michael’s restaurant

getting a normal amount of clients.

EXT. - MICHAEL’S RESTAURANT - DAY

EXTREME LONG SHOT - NEUTRAL VIEW - TILT

NARRATOR (V.O.)

And like that Michael’s restaurant

improved it’s management with the help

of two friends, little did Michael know

that those two friends that help him in

his lowest would betray him in his highest.

The scene now fades in black and transports us to Christina’s

office

INT. OFFICE - NIGHT

LONG SHOT - NEUTRAL VIEW - STATIC

CHRISTINA

(Pleased)

Well done…

REPORTER

(Excited)

Oh, you want my name!?

CHRISTINA

(Stressed)

I wanted it

REPORTER

(Sad)

Oh

CHRISTINA

Well, now you need to gain his trust

and then put this in one of his dishes.

CHRISTINA said this while giving a recipient with a STRANGE

LIQUID that looked dangerous.

(Motivated)

CHRISTINA

(Menacing)

The camera starts pointing to the roof and then the scene

changes into a blue sky with the letters ONE MONTH LATER.

After that, the camera points down to Michael's restaurant

NARRATOR (V.O)

And like that, a month has passed, and now

another problem is presented to Michael

INT. - MICHAEL’S RESTAURANT - DAY

LONG SHOT - NEUTRAL VIEW - STATIC

REPORTER

It’s time to start the plan, I hope

nothing goes wrong

REPORTER says this at the same time that he is changing the

normal sauce for the STRANGE LIQUID in one of the dishes made

by Michael.

The scene vanishes in black and we now are outside the

restaurant with REPORTER giving the news.

REPORTER

And in recent news, a restaurant that was

getting a lot of fame is going down after

sending a little girl to the hospital with

one of his dishes. And with this we finish

today's news. My name is…

The scene changes completely and we see Michael turning off

the TV.

INT. - MICHAEL’S HOUSE - DAY

LONG SHOT - NEUTRAL VIEW - STATIC

MICHAEL

(Depressed)

This cannot be happening to me.

I didn’t do anything wrong.

Does the world just hate me?

RANDOM PERSON 1

Don’t worry too much Michael, we will find

a way to solve it, and now that “he” is not

here, no one can stop you.

MICHAEL

(Disappointed)

RANDOM PERSON 1

(Frustrated)

Not to talk about “him”, I now, but its

just so frustrating that he

MICHAEL

(Depressed)

Betrayed us? It doesn't matter anymore.

RANDOM PERSON 1

(Inspiring)

You now, there is a good thing about being

at your deepest point

MICHAEL

(Angry)

What could be a good thing about this!

RANDOM PERSON 1

possible way is up.

NARRATOR (V.O)

Michael was stressed? Yes

Was he sad? Of course

Was he tired? Absolutely

But behind all that, he still had hope,

hope to get up and reach higher than he ever

have done. And this was the only thing

he needed.

MICHAEL

(Motivated)

Let’s do this

Michael was saying this when he opened his restaurant doors,

and the camera zoomed in to the light from outside. Then the

white scene slowly changes to a view from outside the

restaurant, where the letters “ONE YEAR LATER” on the sky.

NARRATOR (V.O)

After one entire year, the restaurant did not

only recover, but got a lot better, better than

it has ever been.

Then the camera moves to the side showing Christina’s

restaurant, and then goes inside right into her office.

INT. OFFICE - NIGHT

LONG SHOT - NEUTRAL VIEW - STATIC

CHRISTINA

(Furious)

This can not be happening. How can he

recover from that?!

REPORTER

Well, first he

CHRISTINA

(Furious)

It was a rhetorical question!

REPORTER looks down trying to hide his shame.

CHRISTINA

(Pensive)

But there’s still something that can

be done to repair all this mess.

REPORTER looked up with fear in his face, praying that what he

was thinking was not the same as CHRISTINA.

REPORTER

(Afraid)

You aren’t talking about

CHRISTINA

(Malevolously)

Yes, I am talking about that.

The scene fades out, and now we are outside Michael’s

restaurant.

EXT. - MICHAEL’S RESTAURANT - NIGHT

EXTREME LONG SHOT - NEUTRAL VIEW - STATIC

MICHAEL was closing his restaurant ready to leave when he

suddenly saw the figure of REPORTER approaching him in the

darkness

MICHAEL

(Angry)

SO you came back.

REPORTER

(Ashamed)

MICHAEL

(Furious)

You think an apology can repair what

you have done to me

REPORTER

(Ashamed)

I’m not apologizing for what I did

in the past, I am doing it for what

I’m going to do. I am sorry Michael

MICHAEL

(Confused)

What are you talking about?

MICHAEL could not continue discussing with REPORTER thanks to

the sound of a gun being used.

REPORTER

(In shock)

No, no, no, no. This shouldn’t happened

Christina is gonna kill me. I-I need

to go.

Just as REPORTER start talking he drop something that was not

visible thanks to the darkness of the night. But what was

visible was the face of horror in Michael’s face

MICHAEL

(In shock)

S-Sa-Sam. Please Sam answer me.

(In severe pain)

Sam!

The camera zooms into Michael’s face that change from complete

pain and desperation to a determinate and furious one

Michael

(Determinate)

“He” is going to pay. Wait, something of

this feels wrong, he isn’t the one at

the top. What name did he say? Ah yes

Christina. She is going to pay.

The scene turns black and then it shows us Christina’s office,

but suddenly the door was opened by force with a kick from

Michael.

CHRISTINA

(Surprised)

What the-What are you doing here, this

is violation of private property you know

MICHAEL

(Furious)

That’s still better than what you try to

do to me.

CHRISTINA

(Stressed)

So that idiot failed. It doesn’t matter,

you don’t have any proofs.

MICHAEL

(Furious)

I don’t need them for what I am going

to do.

CHRISTINA

(Convinced)

You wouldn’t dare

MICHAEL

(Furious)

The scene changes to a complete darkness as the sound of a gun

sounds in the background.

REPORTER

(Sad)

And to finish today's report, the restaurant

owner Christina has disappeared and there

is no clue of her. My name is… You know what,

it doesn't matter my name anymore.

(Inspiring)

In this society people think the most

important thing of a person is their name,

but it’s more important their dreams and

goals, and even more important is what

they are capable to do in order to

achieve it. So let’s all try our

best to change ourselves in the best

way possible and make your world one

where something like this will never happen.
