(a) Define transfer function of a system. CO1


(b) What are the drawbacks of block diagram reduction technique? CO1
(c) Write any two advantages of feedback control systems. CO1
(d) Classify the system based on damping ratio. CO2

(g) How will you find the gain, ‘K’ at a point on root locus? CO3
(h) The damping ratio and natural frequency of oscillation of a second order system is CO3

4. (a) Derive the time response of a standard under damped second order system for unit 6M CO2

(b) Consider the unit step response of a unity feedback control system whose open 6M CO2
