Welcome to INSO's NGO Security Management course!

My name is Paula and I will be guiding you throughout this course.

This course is designed to blend theoretical knowledge with practical online activities, ensuring
you gain both the insights and practical skills necessary to set up a safe management framework
for a humanitarian team.

The course is divided into several modules. You'll first delve into the Fundamentals of
Humanitarian Action to apply humanitarian principles and overcome dilemmas. The
subsequent modules are the core of NGO Security Management: analysing the context and
risks for your organisation, tailoring plans and rules based on these analyses, and lastly
managing a security incident. Every module includes training content, interactive activities, and
self-assessment quizzes to guide you along your learning journey.
