Executive Summary
This is a project aiming at helping in spiritual growth and development of youth Pasong
Kawayan 2. There are several engagement activities, accompanied by mentorship that can
build on faith amid youths. Through such activities and mentoring, spiritual needs among youth
can be helped, for which young people develop and increase in the right path in a world
dominated by more sin than virtues. Community service and fellowship will be aimed at
deepening an understanding of one's faith in everyday, real-life matters. Success will be
measured as increased participation in faith-based activities and lives transformed through good
changes experienced by the participants.
Background/Introduction
Most young people in Pasong Kawayan 2 are searching for meaning and purpose in their lives.
The project believes faith gives guidance, hope, and a sense of belonging. It seeks to provide a
safe and welcoming environment for young people to explore their spirituality, to connect with
the faith community, and to find a strong foundation for their spiritual journey. The program is
inclusive and respectful of diverse religious backgrounds.
Problem Statement
There is a lack of spiritual programs that are accessible and engaging for the youth in Pasong
kawayan 2. This leaves most of them disconnected from their faith or without a strong spiritual
foundation. This often results in uncertainty, lack of purpose, and inability to handle life's
challenges. This project directly addresses this need by providing a structured program
designed to nurture spiritual growth and faith development.
Project Goals and Objectives:
Goal: Nurture the spiritual growth and faith development of young people in Pasong Kawayan 2
Objectives
Objective 1
To give the participants opportunities to deepen their faith through interactive discussions, Bible
studies (or other religious texts), and reflective activities.
Objective 2
To build a sense of community and belonging among the participants through fellowship events
and group activities.
Objective 3
To lead participants to express their faith in daily life by serving others and participating in their
communities.
Project Timeline
Month 1-2: Introduction & Fundamentals: Recruitment, orientation, foundational sessions on
core beliefs and practices. Focus building relationships and community.
Month 3-4: Exploration & Discussion: In-depth exploration of specific themes or topics relevant
to the youth's lives. This could include guest speakers, group discussions, or personal reflection
exercises.
Month 5: Service & Application: Involves major community service, where participants have the
opportunity to apply their faith in practical ways.
Month 6: Reflection & Celebration: Personal time for reflection on experiences and
accomplishment. A final gathering or presentation could conclude the program.
Budget
Training Materials: 15,000 Comprises workbooks, handouts, visual aids, etc. (Cost per
participant x number of participants)
Workshop Venue Rental: 5,000 Cost depends on location and size of venue.
Mentorship Stipends: 10,000 Amount depends on number of mentors and stipend per mentor.
Community Project Supplies: 3,000 Cost is resultant of the nature of project.
Contingency Fund (10%): 2,800 Considered to cater for unexpected expenses.
Total: 35,800
Monitoring and Evaluation
The success of the project will be measured through participant attendance, feedback surveys,
and observations of increased engagement in faith-based activities. Qualitative data, such as
participant testimonials and reflections on their spiritual growth, will be collected. Quantitative
data, such as participation rates and feedback scores, will also be used to assess the program's
impact.
Sustainability
Collaboration with local religious leaders and community organizations will ensure long-term
sustainability. We will seek partnerships for ongoing support and resources. The program will
also aim to empower participants to become future leaders and mentors within their faith
community, ensuring continued impact.
