Adjective describes or modifies a noun or a pronoun in a sentence.

Kinds of Adjectives

Descriptive adjective
Descriptive adjective is a word that describes nouns and pronouns.
• Noah sold his old car.
• She is ambitious.

Proper adjective
Proper adjective is the adjective form of proper noun. Proper adjectives begin with a capital letter.
• MS Dhoni was an Indian cricketer.
• The African drums sounded loud.

Possessive adjective
Possessive adjectives indicate ownership. My, his, her, our, their, your- all these adjectives come
before a noun.
• My car is parked outside.
• Her basket is lost.
