What is a preposition

-- A preposition is a word that shows the relationship between a noun pronoun and the other
words in sentence.

Noun/Pronoun -preposition- other words in the sentence

*Prepositions may be classified as:

1. Prepositions of time
2. Prepositions of place
3. Prepositions of location

1). Prepositions of time ( at , on , in )

At > specific time of the day

Example = I will go to bed at 8:00 PM

= We like to watch movies at night

On > days of the week, specific date & special days.

Example = they will announce the winner on Friday.

= His birthday is on March 7

= My grandparents will visit on Christmas Day.

Example = I like to speed my time at home
