Dear respondent.

My name is Benta Omondi, a student at Marist international university a constituent college of

the catholic university of eastern Africa (CUEA). Am currently pursuing my bachelor’s degree in

education. As a prerequisite for the attainment of my degree, I am conducting academic research

on “The analysis of challenges encountered by mathematics students in teaching and learning

trigonometry in mathematics in public day secondary school in Gem sub county Siaya county

Kenya.

You have been selected to participate in this research project. You will find some questions

about yourself and some other questions ask for facts based while other questions ask for your

opinion. Your kindly requested responses carefully and truthful to this survey. I greatly value

you and will maintain the confidentiality of any information that is provided. Your name should
