CHAPTER IV
PRESENTATION, ANALYSIS AND INTERPRETATION OF DATA.
This Chapter present the analysis and interpretation of data gathered from the foregoing study which
aimed to determine the present signs of depression among the selected Grade 10 Students. The data
found in this Chapter were aranged according to the problems treated in this study.
1. Profile of the Respondents
1.1 Age Table 4

As shown in this table Grade 10 Burgos, Rizal Students aged fifthteen and Sixteen (15)-(16) above got the
highest percentage which is 89.61% or sixty six (66) respondents out of seventy-seven (77) students.
And the lowest percentage is 10.39% of eight (8) respondents is the age of seventeen (17) below.

Table 5 shows the percentage (%) of respondents in terms of their section. From those who had been
surveyed, Burgos have thirty eight (38) respondents were 50.6% with a total of thirty nine (39)
Respondents.

Table 7 shows the responses of Grade 10 Burgos, Rizal of their Family Forms. The highest percentage is
52.11% or thirty-seven (37) respondents for Complete Family. The second highest percentage is 18.18%
or fourteen (14) respondents for Broken Family. The Middle highest and lowest percentage is 14.28% or
eleven (11) respondents for Single Parent Family. The second lowest percentage is 7.79% or six (6)
respondents for Gran Family. The third lowest percentage is 6.49% or five(5) respondents for
Grandparent Family. The lowest percentage is 3.89% or three (3) respondents for Extended Family.

Table 8 shows the percentage of respondents in terms of Teacher Support. The highest of percentage is
18.18% or twinthy nine(29) respondents of teacher support. This is because most of the tasks given
made the students have their study in using teacher support in Grade 10 Burgos and Rizal.
