CHAPTER IV
PRESENTATION, ANALYSIS AND INTERPRETATION OF DATA
This chapter present the analysis and interpretation of data gathered from the
foregoing study which aimed to determine the present signs of bullying among the
selected Grade 10 students. The data found in this chapter were arranged according to
the problems treated in this study.
I. Profile of the respondents

As shown in the table the Grade 10 Rizal students aged sixteen (16) years old
got the highest percentage which is 50.56% or nineteen (19) respondents out of thirty-
five (35) students. The second highest is 45.34% or fifteen (15) respondents are in the
age of fifteen (15). The second lowest is 4.1% or one (1) respondent is the age of
seventeen (17). On the other hand, the lowest percentage is 0% or zero (0) respondent
aged fourteen (14).

As shown in the table the Grade 10 Burgos students aged fifteen (15) years old
got the highest percentage which is 62.5% or twenty-eight (28) respondents out of
fourty-five (45) students. The second highest is 35.34% or sixteen (16) respondents are
in the age of fifteen (15). The second lowest is 2.16% of one (1) respondent is the age
of fourteen (14). On the other hand, the lowest percentage is 0% or zero (0) respondent
age seventeen (17).

Table 5 shows the percentage of respondents in terms of sex. From those who
had been surveyed, female respondents were 39.73% with a total of fourteen (14) out of
thirty-five (35) students from Grade 10 Rizal. The percentage of male is 60.27% with a
total of twenty-one (21) student respondents from Grade 10 Rizal.

had been surveyed, female respondents were 83.54% with a total of thirty-six (36) out of
fourty-five(45) students from Grade 10 Burgos. The percentage of male is 16.45% with
a total of nine (9) student respondents from Grade 10 Burgos.

Table 6 shows the percentage of respondents in terms of daily allowance. The
highest daily allowance 81 pesos and above for students is 80.84% or twenty-five (25)
respondents out of thirty-five (35) students. The second highest is 9.23% or four (4)
respondents for 41 pesos to 60 pesos allowance a day. The three are the same
percentage 3.31% or two (2) respondents for 0 to 20 pesos, 21 pesos to 40 pesos and
61 pesos to 80 pesos from the Grade 10 Rizal.

respondents out of fourty-five (45) students. The second highest is 12.36% or six (6)
respondents for 41 pesos to 60 pesos allowance per day. The third highest is 10.14% or
five (5) respondents for 61 pesos to 80 pesos per day. The second lowest is 2.56% or
two (2) respondents for 21 pesos to 40 pesos per day. The lowest is 1.29% or one (1)
respondent for 0 to 20 pesos per day from Grade 10 Burgos.

highest family form is the complete family for students is 56.21% or twenty (20)
respondents out of thirty-five (35) students. The second highest is 25.17% or eight (8)
respondents for broken family. The third highest is 11.38% or four (4) respondents for
extended family. The second lowest is 5.71% or two (2) respondents for single parent
family. The lowest is 1.55% or one (1) respondent for grandparent family from Grade 10
Rizal.

The table shows the level of awareness of 35 students section Rizal Grade 10
students in terms of the impact of bullying on the respondents. It shows that there an
average of 27.8 students respond that they strongly agree which is the highest, followed
by the average of 21.6 students responded that they agree which is the second highest,
followed by strongly disagree which have a average of 15.2 and lastly by the average of
12.4 students that responded that they disagree is the lowest average in the table.

10 students in terms of the impact of bullying to the respondents. It shows that there an
average of 57.8 students respond that the strongly agree which is the highest, followed
by the average of 29.8 students that responded that they agree which is the second
highest in the table, followed by disagree which have an average of 10 and lastly by the
average of 5 students that responded that they strongly disagree is the lowest average
in the table.
