NAIA TERMINAL 3, PASAY CITY

PNP DRUG ENFORCEMENT GROUP, CAMP BGEN RAFAEL T


CRAME, QUEZON CITY – According to the report from PCOL
ROLANDO B CUYA JR, OIC, PNP DEG on January 17, 2025, a
controlled delivery operation (Interdiction Operation) was conducted at
International Arrival Area, NAIA TERMINAL 3, Pasay City. This resulted
in the successful arrest of a Thai National identified as Taweesup
Sirirut, 40 years old.

Confiscated and seized during the operation were more or less


14,825 grams of suspected marijuana kush with an Standard Drug Price
of Php20,755,000.00.

PCol Cuya said, “We extend our gratitude to the brave men and
women who worked tirelessly to bring this operation to a successful
conclusion. Their dedication serves as a powerful deterrent to those who
seek to profit from illegal activities at the expense of public well-being.”

Arrested suspect and recovered pieces of evidence were brought


to PDEA Laboratory Service for documentation and proper disposition.

The successful operation is a joint effort of Ninoy Aquino


International Airport Interagency Drug Interdiction Task Group (NAIA-
IADITG) where PNP DEG is one of the member agencies.
