cultural diversity and the dominance of certain cultural norms . However, despite these
disadvantages, I firmly believe that positive impacts - elevated educational and
humanitarian exchange opportunities can outweight negatives.

Question:
Some people believe globalization has improved the quality of life, while others think it has led
to a loss of local traditions.
Do you think the benefits of globalization outweigh its drawbacks?

Topic: Fast Food


The consumption of junk food has become prevalent among public as it offers scrumptious
options at reasonable prices. However, despite these advantages, I firmly believe that
cardiological and digestive disorders brought about by constant intake of fast food
outweigh its advantages.

Question:
The availability of fast food has made life easier, but it is also linked to serious health issues.
Do you think this trend is more positive or negative?

Topic: Urban Development


Metropolitan growth has brought about convenient housing options and reliable
commuting means to citizens. However, the disadvantages -noise and air pollution - can far
outweigh its advantages.

Urban development has improved living standards but created significant environmental
problems.

Adressing social media to exchange and publicize digital data has become prevalent as it
offers a fairly reliable and fast means of communication. However, the disadvantages-the
possibility of identity theft and virtual blackmail- outweigh its advantages.

It is a common knowledge that tourism nurtures economy by retail and vocational rentals

environment.

Home-based work has become preferable by employees as it offers flexible schedule and

Experimenting on animals is widely employed in conveying clinical research as it is


considered to yield reliable data on developing medicine. However, I believe disadvantages
outweigh advantages as testing involves animal suffering and causes public backlash.

Investing in public transportation systems can reduce traffic congestion and environmental
pollution.

Financing public transit may be considered as nuance to some due to overcrowding and
maintenance costs. However, i believe advantages outweigh disadvantages as it offers eco-
friendly and cost-effective commuting option to citizens.

Space exploration has led to scientific breakthroughs and global cooperation.
Do you think the benefits of space exploration outweigh the costs involved?

Exploring outer planet has always required allocating huge amount of expenditure to
organize and operate. However, I believe costs can totally be justified by the amount of
knowledge about the creation of existence and other possible life forms attained by space
exploration.

 Plastic Waste
The convenience of single-use plastic products has led to a rise in plastic waste.
Do you believe the advantages of using plastic products outweigh their environmental impact?

Utilizing disposable plastic outputs has become prevalent accomodating single-use


advocates as it reduces cross-contamination and provides safety. However, I believe
damages to the environment by non-degradable items are irrepatable.

 Genetically Modified Organisms (GMOs)


The use of GMOs in agriculture has increased crop yields and reduced food shortages.
Do you think the benefits of GMOs outweigh the potential health risks?
Employing non-organic goods has been considered as a way to tackle famine and stimulate
harvest volume. However, I believe disadvantages outweigh advantages as huge crop
volume is compensated by the lack of nutritional value and may take its toll causing
irreparable health issues namely vitamine deficiency and obesity in the long run.

 Online Privacy
The use of personal data by online companies has allowed for better-targeted services.
Do you believe the convenience of online services outweighs the risks to personal privacy?

Companies often provide personalized assistance by attaining private data of individuals


accomodating them with convenient service that enhances customer experience. However,
I believe disadvantages outweigh advantages if personal data is not secured properly
resulting in identity theft and virtual blackmail.

 The Death Penalty


The death penalty is still a legal punishment in some countries.
Do you think the death penalty is a necessary punishment, or do the negative consequences
outweigh its benefits?

Some countries still employ capital punishment to serve justice which declines grand crime
rates noticeably. However, I believe this practise can yield more disadvantages as it is an
irreparable act and the violation of a basic human right to live.

 Nuclear Energy
Nuclear energy provides a clean and efficient source of power but poses environmental and
safety risks.
Do you think the advantages of nuclear energy outweigh the disadvantages?

Utilizing nuclear energy to generate electricity minimizes waste and offers around the clock
source of energy. However, I believe disadvantages outweigh advantages due to the
possibilty of radioactive pollution and high costs.

 Fast Fashion
Fast fashion has made clothing more affordable and accessible, but it is associated with
environmental damage and exploitation of workers.
Do you think the positives of fast fashion outweigh the negative impacts?

Instant fashion has been favoured by masses due to its affordability and abundance.
However, I believe disadvantages outweigh advantages as instant fashion can be
degenerative to nature due to its quickly- disposable nature and to customers for its fairly
low quality.
