Alcatel-Lucent Intelligent Services Access Manager FX
F A N T - F 4 8 0 G N etwork T ermination card | R elease 4 . 3
The Alcatel-Lucent ISAM FANT-F Network Termination card is an ISAM controller board that provides service
and network intelligence in the access node. It is used in Alcatel-Lucent 7360 ISAM FX shelves, providing a
480-Gb/s switching matrix, making it the ideal controller for fiber deployments. The Alcatel-Lucent ISAM
FANT-F Network Termination card supports up to 40 Gb/s connections to each line card slot.
The FANT-F Network Termination Features
card provides four configurable
Small Form Factor Pluggable (SFP)+ • 480 Gb/s switching matrix
cages supporting 10 Gb/s, and 1-Gb/s (bidirectional)
links for subtending, direct user or • Active-active redundancy
network interfaces. Optional hardware • Supports 40-Gb/s connection to
