Andhra Pradesh
The Emblem of Andhra Pradesh is the state emblem of Andhra Pradesh, India.
Design
● The emblem features a Purna Ghataka (Kalash) at the centre encircled by a Dharmachakra symbolising the "wheel of
law", portrayed from Amaravati school of arts, surrounded by the name of the state in Telugu, English and Hindi.
● The Government of Andhra Pradesh can be represented by a banner displaying the emblem of the state on a white field.
● The Government of Andhra Pradesh uses this emblem for many official things.
State Animal - Blackbuck. It is also a state animal of Haryana and Punjab.
State Bird - Rose-ringed parakeet. Locally known as Rama Chiluka.
State Tree - Neem ( Azadirachta indica). Locally known Vepa Chettu.
State flower: Jasmine (Jasminum officinale)

Telangana
The Emblem of Telangana Design
● The emblem is a circular seal consisting of the Kakatiya Kala Thoranam (historical arch in the Warangal district) and
Charminar (Hyderabad) with the Sarnath Lion Capital above.
● It has "Government of Telangana" in English, "Telangana Sarkar" in Urdu and "Telangana Prabhutvam"in Telugu.
● Satyameva Jayate is written in Sanskrit.
State Animal - Jinka or spotted deer
State Bird - Indian Roller (coracias benghalensis) or Palapitta. It is also a state bird of Odisha and Karnataka.
State Tree - Jammi Chettu (prosopis cineraria)
State Flower - Tangedu (senna auriculata). It is widely used in the state’s famous Bathukamma festival.
State Fish – Murrel (Channa striatus)
State Fruit – Mango

Arunachal Pradesh
Emblem of Arunachal Pradesh :-
● The Emblem of Arunachal Pradesh is the official seal of the government of the Indian state of Arunachal Pradesh.
● The emblem depicts the Sun rising between the peaks of Komdi and Daphabum above a Mithun bison head and is
supported by two Hornbills with the crest being formed by the Emblem of India.
● The mithun bison and hornbill are the official state animals and birds of Arunachal Pradesh and mountains and sunrise
allude to the name of the state which translates into "the land of dawn-lit mountains".
New Logo of Arunachal Pradesh :-
● The new logo consists of the National Emblem and the Fox Tail Orchid (Rhynchostylis Retusa), the State flower.
● The National Emblem signifies the federal system of the Indian Constitution while the Fox Tail Orchid represents the
State, its people and culture as a whole while the blue colour denotes the autonomy of the Legislative Assembly
Secretariat.
● Maximum number of varieties of Orchids are found in Arunachal Pradesh.

Emblem :-
● At present the state of Assam in India has not adopted a distinctive emblem for government use and instead uses the
national emblem of India with the words "Oxom Xorkar" above and "Government of Assam" below.
State Animal - Indian rhinoceros (Rhinoceros unicornis), it is found mainly in Kaziranga and Manas National Parks.
State Bird - White-winged wood duck (Deo haah)

● The Emblem of Bihar is the official logo of the government of the Indian state of Bihar.
● The emblem of Bihar depicts the Bodhi Tree with Prayer beads, flanked by two swastikas.
● The base of the tree is a brick with ‫ ﺑﮩﺎر‬, Urdu for "Bihar" inscribed on it.

● The Emblem of Chhattisgarh is the official seal of the government of the Indian state of Chhattisgarh.

● Below the capital are three wavy lines in the colours of the Indian national flag, which represent the rivers of the state,
flanked by two lightning bolts.
● The whole emblem is surrounded by 36 fortifications representing the 36 fortresses after which the state is named.

Emblem Design :-
● The Emblem of Goa is the official emblem of the Government of Goa.
● The emblem depicts a "Vriksha Deep", a type of diya lamp, at its centre and is surrounded by a stylised design of
coconut leaves which represent the bountiful and beautiful aspects of Goa.
● A Sanskrit motto appears above the lamp and can be translated as "may everyone see goodness, may none suffer any
pain" (Devnagari: सव भ ािण प ु मा कि द् दु ःखमा ुयात्; Sarve bhadrāṇi paśyantu mā kaścid duḥkhamāpnuyāt).
● The crest is formed by the National Emblem of India, the Lions of Sarnath, and the arms are supported by two open

The Emblem of Himachal Pradesh is the official state seal used by the Government of Himachal Pradesh

● The design depicts the Lion Capital of Ashoka superimposed on a semi-circular blue background with snow-capped
mountain peaks and three white stripes at the bottom.
State Animal - Snow leopard (Panthera uncia), it is found in Great Himalayan National Park.

The Emblem of Karnataka is the state emblem of Karnataka, India.
Emblem Design :-
● The emblem has a red shield charged with a white two-headed bird, Gandabherunda bordered in blue.
● The crest depicts the Lion Capital of Ashoka (also used as the emblem of the Government of India).
● The shield is flanked on either side by red-maned, yellow lion-elephant Sharabha (mythical creatures believed to be
upholders of righteousness stronger than lions and elephants) standing on a green, leafy compartment.
● Below the compartment lies written in stylized Devanāgarī, the national motto of India, "स मेव जयते" (Satyameva
Jayate, Sanskrit for "Truth alone triumphs")

Emblem of Kerala
● The official Kerala emblem is a derivative version of the Royal coat of arms of the Kingdom of Travancore.
● The state emblem symbolizes two elephants guarding the Sri Padmanabha's Royal Shanku (Conch) in its imperial
crest.
● The crest is garlanded with a wreath over which India's national emblem-Sarnath Lion Capital is found, as common to
most Indian states.

Emblem Design :-
● The central shield, supported by European dragons, consists of a Buddhist khorlo prayer wheel with the gankyil as the
central element.
● Above is a helmet more in line with European armorial bearings, and atop that is the right-turning conch, a Buddhist
pictogram representing the pervasive sound of the Buddhadharma which awakens disciples and urges them to
accomplish their own welfare and the welfare of others.
● The coat of arms includes the Tibetan words, ༄༅།ཁམས་ག མ་དབང་འ ས།, Kham-sum-wangdu, which literally means "the
conqueror of the three worlds".

the national motto in Devanagari, "स मेव जयते" (Satyameva Jayate, Sanskrit for "Truth Alone Triumphs") is
presented below.
● The red background on the top represents the blood of statehood activists who lost their lives during the course of
Uttarakhand statehood movement.
● White background represents the peaceful nature of the Uttarakhandi people.
● The mountains represent the geography and ecology of the Himalayan state and the four streams represent the big four
rivers of the state; Ganga, Yamuna, Kali and Ramganga.
● Blue colour symbolizes purity of water attributed to the holy rivers of Uttarakhand.

● The central element of the emblem was also used by the Biswa Bangla campaign to promote sale of traditional West

िकया गया है , िजसमे चारों ओर तेलुगु, अं ेजी और िहं दी म रा के नाम का नाम िलखा है ।
● आं दे श सरकार को एक सफेद मैदान पर रा के तीक को दिशत करने वाले बैनर ारा दशाया जा सकता है ।
● आं दे श सरकार इस तीक का उपयोग कई आिधका रक चीजों के िलए करती है ।
रा पशु - ैकबक (काला िहरन)। यह ह रयाणा और पंजाब का भी रा पशु है ।
रा प ी - रोज- रं गेड पैराकीट। थानीय प से राम िचलुका के प म जाना जाता है ।

● राजधानी के नीचे भारतीय रा ीय ज के रं गों म तीन लहरदार रे खाएँ ह, जो रा की निदयों का ितिनिध करती ह, जो दो
िबजली के बो ों से भरी ई ह।
● पूरा तीक 36 िकलों से िघरा आ है जो 36 िकलों का ितिनिध करता है िजसके बाद रा का नाम रखा गया है ।

● गोवा का तीक गोवा सरकार का आिधका रक तीक है ।
● तीक अपने क म दीया दीपक का एक कार "वृ दीप" दशाता है , जो ना रयल के प ों की शैली से िघरा आ है , जो गोवा के
समृ और सुंदर पहलुओं का ितिनिध करता है ।
● एक सं ृ त आदश वा दीपक के ऊपर िदखाई दे ता है और इसका अनुवाद "सभी लोग अ ाई को दे ख, िकसी को भी पीड़ा न
