RESEARCH DESIGN
The researchers of the study used descriptive type of quantitative research to analyze
the data carefully and explain the study further. Descriptive is a fast and easy way of
finding and gathering data and information about the part-time job employment of Senior
High School students and how it impacts their academic performances. The researchers
used a descriptive method to be able to attain the correct and suitable data and results
about the study and this was done using a quantitative research survey instrumen.
POPULATION AND SAMPLES AND SAMPLING PROCEDURE
The purpose of this paper is to examine the impact of part-time employment on
academic performance among Grade 12 students. In particular, this paper will explore how
the amount of time spent working, the type of job, the number of hours worked, and what
impact it will have on their academic performance. This paper will draw on a variety of
research studies and will also make use of data gathered from a simple random sample of
Grade 12 students.
Methodology
In order to explore the impact of part-time employment on academic performance
among Grade 12 students, a simple random sample of students was used. A total of 30
Grade 12 students from [Link] College were randomly selected and asked to complete a
survey about their part-time work experience. The survey asked questions about the type
of job, the number of hours worked, the amount of money earned, and the effect of the job
on academic performance. The survey results were then analyzed to determine the impact
of part-time employment on academic performance.
DATA GATHERING PROCEDURE
After the researcher-made questionnaires were created, the researchers made 30
copies of the questionnaires to accommodate the respondents. Along with it, the request to
conduct the said study was sent.
When permission to conduct the study was approved, copies of researcher-made
questionnaires were distributed to the respondents. The researchers explained the
importance of the respondents’ participation in the study and a few terms to them in order
for the respondents to fully understand their responsibilities as the study’s subject and
provide an informed response. The researcher also requested an honest response.
After the results were collected, the researchers tabulated and analyzed the data
collected through the use of the most appropriate statistical procedure.
DATA GATHERING INSTRUMENT
The data gathering instruments that we used was to gather the Senior High School;
Grade 12’s profile. The researcher used a questionnaire that was drawn out from previous
studies and
research because it has proven to be much more effective in terms of the type of research
that we are having.
The researcher also used this method of data gathering for it is known to have less bias
and the least expensive way of collecting data. And it also promotes open-minded options
that were provided to accommodate open minded options related to our study to also
avoid any kind of bias in the method of collecting this data.
It also encourages the respondents to be more cooperative due to the fact that it is
much more comfortable to respond and much open to options but still related and specific
to our type of research that the researcher is conducting
VALIDATION OF THE INSTRUMENTS
A multi-method approach to study the impact of part-time employment on the
academic performance of grade 12 students at St. Clare College can be used. This includes
surveys and questionnaires to gather data on employment status, hours worked, academic
performance, and satisfaction. Academic records can be analyzed to compare the
performance of employed and non-employed students. Qualitative methods like interviews
and focus groups can provide in-depth insights into the experiences and challenges faced
by students working part-time. Control group studies can isolate the impact of employment
while controlling for other factors.

SUMMARY
Moderate Effect: Students reported different degrees of influence from part-time
work,which had a moderate effect on academic achievement
Time management was a challenge for students who worked part-time since they had to
balance their academic obligations with their work obligation.
Positive Effect: Balancing employment and school has led to some students reporting
improve time management skills and increased focus.
Negative Effect: On the other hand, some students felt overworked and under more stress
asa result of having two jobs, which affected their academic performance.
FinancialMotivation: In order to satisfy their financial demands, many students took up
part-time jobs, which improved their general well being but can have an adverse affect on
their study time.
Suggestions:
Time Management workshops: Hold workshops to help students learn to better manage
their academic and professional obligations.
Flexible Scheduling: Motivate companies to provide.
