CENTERING AND SHUTTERING

|Formiwork/Shuttering work: Providing, fabricating,
erecting, centering, single/multi level staging,
|stuttering, propping and bracing, bolting, welding
and fixing in position wooden ply form work of good
quality and making the joints of shuttering fully leak
proof for all type of RCC structural member and

REINFORCED CEMENT CONCRETE (Minimum cement
content for M-20-300 kgs/m3, M-25-330 kgs/m3,
M-30 -35Okgs/m3, M-40 -390 kgs/m3 Necessary

a) AIl RCCshall be as specified and shall be
carried out strictly In accordance with the
drawings and specifications provided by
concerned authorities.
b) The rates for RCC Works shall be inclusive of
all depths below G.L slabs at all helghts as detailed
in the drawing but exclusive of cost of
reinforcement unless otherwise mentioned.
c) All Coarse aggregate to be 20 mm
Downgrade size (HBG metal) and uniformly
graded unless otherwise mentioned. All Fine
aggregates (Msand) used to be double water
washed, this to be a prerequisit to select the
RMC vendor.
d) For all RCC items, the rates quoted shall include
the following without any extra cost to the Dept.
i) Spacers to maintain clear cover for
reinforcement.
i) Fixing at correct level & in proper alignment the
inserts, pipe sleeves, pipe bends, fan hooks, other
pipe specials etc. supplied by Department or
Contractor unless otherwise mentioned in a separate

ii) Test for concrete shall be done as per IS 456
|2000 and the cost of the testing to be carried out
shall be borne by the contractor.
d) Precaution to be taken to avoid uplifting forces on
the raft of water tanks.
