Migration

Migration has been a constant since thousands of years where the

people were looking for simply decent living conditions, that has generated
great human movements throughout the planet. Migration is a “the
movement of people one region, location to another in order to breed grow,
find food” according to Oxford dictionary. But what are the advantages and
disadvantages for the Nations who receives foreign migration?

An of advantages is the mixed of the cultures. If we look around us, we

will discover that creative dynamism in the history, for example in the
architecture we can see influence of other cultures like church, building,
structure of the houses, who combine styles and knowledge to make it a new
one. This was possible because millions of small artisans who came and went
contributing to rich culture.

For example, the gothic architecture in England is different from the

rest Europe, this characterized by abundance sinuous moldings and fan
ribbed vaults and ornamental style. One of the most representative
structures is the Gloucester Cathedral (Gothic in Europe, Ana Belen
Fernandez). This is a notable rich culture.

For the other hand, the migration could be generated social tensions,
for example some people take advantage of the movement of people doing
business with them like human trafficking, sex tourism that affect
communities where it is practiced, and their lifestyle becomes a fight for life.

Besides, the countries where from originally the migrants can deprive
of their brightest citizens because they have to migrate from your places to
other due a social problem, war, problem economics in theirs. A big problem
that stops development of these countries and to have better communities.

Finally, the topic of the Migration is so complicated it shouldn’t be

solved alone but also, we are beginning to discover how we can make
migration contribute more systematically to development and working how
we can be a better citizen to our countries.
