The statement that 'leaders are born and not made' is contentious because it suggests that leadership qualities are innate rather than developed through education and experience. In the context of school leadership, this could be debated as educational environments typically emphasize the growth and formation of leadership skills through learning and experience, supporting the idea that leadership can be cultivated in anyone, not just those with inherent abilities .

The concept of empowerment is integrated by highlighting that great leaders empower others, suggesting that leadership is about enabling others to succeed. The induction of teachers' watch officers includes introducing leaders recognized for their ability to inspire and support their peers, reinforcing the notion that all individuals have leadership potential and that they can be developed through supportive community practices .

Dr. Jidith P. Magsipoc's presence and introduction as a leader of integrity and guidance since 2018 convey messages of stability, continuity, and credibility in leadership. It reinforces trust in the institution's administration and highlights the importance of having experienced and respected leaders who can inspire and lead the school community effectively .

The convocation emphasizes that 'Success is a journey, not a destination,' highlighting that success is determined by everyday choices, actions, and experiences, rather than a singular achievement. This is significant for students as it encourages them to focus on personal growth and resilience, and to view challenges as opportunities for learning and development, which aligns with the educational and personal values promoted during the convocation .

National pride and unity are highlighted through the singing of the Philippine National Anthem and the recitation of pledges, including the 'Panunumpa sa watawat' and 'Panunumpa ng lingkod bayan.' These activities are intended to signify unity as a nation and reinforce commitment to national values at the start of the convocation program .

The significance of singing the various hymns lies in reinforcing cultural and community pride and instilling a sense of belonging and identity among the students. It serves to connect them with the larger regional and local communities, while also nurturing allegiance to their educational institution, contributing to holistic emotional and civic education .

The convocation encourages students to embrace new challenges and learning opportunities by urging them to start each day with enthusiasm and pride, coupled with the message that accepting new challenges equates to new learning. This is reinforced through motivational discourse that emphasizes personal growth through active engagement in the educational experience .

Introducing policies such as the '5PM-off limits' is intended to ensure safety and orderly conduct within the school. Discussing them during the convocation raises awareness and emphasizes the importance of discipline and adherence to rules, which contributes to the welfare and security of all school community members .

The educational values reinforced include unity, community, discipline, and national identity. Participation in collective activities like singing hymns and anthems emphasizes the importance of working together harmoniously and supports the development of a strong, cohesive school culture that celebrates shared values and collective achievements .

Teachers play a significant role in setting the tone for school gatherings by leading activities, such as the national anthem and hymns, and participating in the organization and delivery of the convocation program. They also serve as role models, guiding students in displaying school spirit and unity, thereby underpinning the values the convocation seeks to instill .
