PREFACE
We take pleasure in introducing this book "'CONCEPTS AND OBJECTIVES IN PHYSICS " to
help the students who appear for the competitive examinations like EAMCET, AIEEE, VIT, BITSAT,
AIIMS, JIPMER, MAHE. This book helps the students to be successful in all these competitive
examinations apart from enabling them to excel in Intermediate Board Examinations. Hence a student
has to get equipped with both the descriptive and objective patterns simultaneously.
To cater to this dual need of a student and to minimise the large number of books and the resultant
burden of the student, we are happy to launch this unique book- 'CONCEPTS AND OBJECTIVES IN
PHYSICS'. This book makes it easy to grasp subject matter which enables the students to apply the
fundamentals to tackle the problems and to tide over the tension of the above mentioned competitive
examinations.
Each chapter in the book contains :
*Logical development of concepts with examples and explanations
*Applications of concepts
*Solved problems of all levels for all examinations (IPE + Competitive) with proper gradation.
*Synopsis provides an over view of contents of a unit for easy and handy reference.
*Very short answer, short answer and long answer questions for Intermediate public examinations.
*Exercise- I contains a good number of theoritical questions which enable the student to develop
thinking skills.
*Exercises - IIA & IIIA contain large collection of unsolved problems which give guidance for
both teacher and student regarding what to focus in teaching classes.
*Exercises IIB & IIIB contain large collection of similar unsolved problems which provide
sufficient exercise for the student to convert his knowledge into skill during study hours.
We owe our sincere gratitude to the management of SRI CHAITANYA EDUCATIONAL
INSTITUTIONS for recommending this book to its NEON and MEDICON students. We gratefully
acknowledge the tremendous efforts on the part of the esteemed teaching fraternity during the preparation
of this project. Our special thanks to 'AKASH MULTIMEDIA' for publishing this book.
It shall be highly appreciated if readers suggest precise alternatives for the improvement of this
book.
