1.1 GENERAL BACKGROUND
As we all know that old age is known as the last stage of
the life. It is the age where the persons are as like a
broken tree that seems to be useless in the eyes of
society and family. As in the project of BBA we were
given the task to collect the lifestyles of the old people,
their experiences, education etc. during their young life.
The collection of the data is important in the sense that
we can know the situation of the old people in the family
as well as the society. It is the project which helped us to
know about their feelings and to share listen some
experiences of those persons. Collection of their feelings
in just around 10-15 question is not appropriate but
some information can be gathered.
1.2 Objectives of the study
Main objectives of the study are:
Know their life style
Find their educational status
Know how they are living in the society
Know about their facilities
Know about their family relation
1.3 Methodology
First of all questions are made.
These questions are collected in the list of paper.
The questioner then goes to the spots to collect the
data.
The questioner asks the questions from the list.
When the data are collected, these data are again
collected in the project file.
At last the project files are made.
1.4 Limitation of the study
As old people are more sensitive and
they need politeness, respect manner towards
them
The questioner should be polite towards them.
The questions which are in the list should in be
asked.
As old people want more respect and
politeness, questioner shouldn’t be rude
towards them.
Sometime they can’t understand so questioner
should be aware about it and should know how
to describe them.
The collected data should be accurate and
correct.
No any questions should hamper them or make
them upset during the interview.

3.1 Summary of the project
From the above project we all group
members came to the conclusion, that the
situation of the old people in that place is not as
better than the exception. The situation of the old
people should be good and they should be treated
well, but there is no such any condition. The family
members are also not taking care about their old
parents; they all are busy in their private work. No
one in the family members gives little time for their
parents. Maximum members are ignoring the
parents and just taking them as the burden of the
family. They just care them when they are in the
trouble and when their health condition is bad.
Grandparents only love them but they pretend
then as they love. And the environment is also not
good for them according to them.
Anyway it was a great feeling for doing this
project. And it was exciting and really heart
touching.
3.2 Recommendation
From the above project we came to some
recommendation that the government should
provide more help to the old people and should
improve the situation of old people in the society.
All the aashram should be closed by the
government. Rule should be made of keeping the
parents compulsory in the home of son after 60s.
Family members should provide the favorable
environment for the old parents. Wants must be
fulfilled by the family members, of the old people.
Government also should play the vital role for the
help of the old peoples. Not only words but the
actions must be done. The facilities also should be
increased to the old peoples. All the people of the
society also must play the vital role in the society to
improve the condition.
