Integrating Technology to Grade-12 STEM Students of Abra State Institute of Sciences
and technology (ASIST), Bangued Campus, is very important to enhance their engagement and
interest in learning. Technology helps the student to leveling up thinking skills and make work
easier and faster. Technology enhance class interaction, it encourage learners collaboration on
various learning style. In today’s generation, technology is widely used across wide range of
fields not only in education but in all aspects. In the aspect of education it helps to ease learners
and educators. Student’s and teacher must use technology for benefits, and teacher must
introduce technology into classroom to improve and innovate teaching practices. So, we cannot
deny that technology is the main part of the most of the sector in education, because it brings
great opportunities for learning. Technology enables personalized learning experiences that cater
to individual needs of each students.
By integrating this into educational system it also adaptive learning software’s that
assesses a student’s performance and tailors the content to their skill level. Help student’s
progress at their own pace and it can build confidence in their certain abilities, which are
essential to their academic growth. Integrating technology in the classroom can enhance
assessment by providing and facilitating feedbacks. The importance of considering benefits of
integrating technology to student learning outcomes includes, better collaboration and
communication, of course a better quality of education and participation that helps simulate
student’s knowledge. With the help of technology, student’s can access a large number of
resources available in online that they are easy to grasp such as, through the instructional videos,
the concept is simplified, and you can see that are multiple learning styles. Some students are
bored in classroom environment, so online access can allow them to exercise their minds.
Integration of technology to student can shape their future into better. In future education
is to maintain the fundamental part of current economic growth and progress. It can also promote
educational changes and solve problem that affect learning, teaching as well as social
organization. Therefore, integration of technology provides great opportunity to increase
efficiency and effectiveness of learning. In addition, it changes the educational system and the
way student learn and retain information. Technology integration is one of the most notable
changes that traditional mode of teaching replaced it in to the modernize one which is the
integration of technology.
