INTRODUCTION
1.1. GENERAL
(1) This manual presents data and instruction for assuring of a safe operation. It contains basic
technical data, technical description of the aircraft, maintenance during a flight day,
instructions for maintenance of the aircraft till the 100-hour inspection. Further there are
mentioned the instructions for winter operation, lubrication chart and a list of recommended
operation substances.
(2) This manual does not contain procedures of disassembly, installation, repairs as well as
inspection procedures after 600 flight hours and general overhaul procedures after 1200 flight
hours if the airframe is maintained according to the “general overhaul maintenance system”.
For this information see REPAIR MANUAL.
This manual also does not contain information on the performance of “A”, “B”, “C” - type
inspections when the aircraft airframe is maintained according to the “maintenance system
without general overhauls”. For information on “A”, “B”, “C” - type inspection of the airframe
and its systems see the “Z 142 MANUAL FOR OPERATION WITHOUT AIRFRAME
GENERAL OVERHAULS, Section 1 and 2”.
(3) Maintenance and check of instruments and aggregates are described in manual
„INSTRUMENTS AND AGGREGATES USED ON AIRCRAFT Z 42 M, Z 42 MU, Z 142 and
Z 43”. Further contains intervals for prescribed works of instruments and aggregates and
their service life time.
(4) Instructions and recommendations mentioned in this manual were tested in operation and it
is in the user´s interest to know a respect them.

1.2. CHANGES
1.2.1. All changes or supplements of this manual are performed as follows:
1) The aircraft manufacturer will send the mandatory bulletin with changes or new corrected pages
of the Technical Manual to the holder of the Technical Manual.
2) The holder of the Technical Manual is under an obligation
a) of recording the obtained change into the LIST OF CHANGES - item 1.2.2,
b) of carrying out the change in accordance with the bulletin or of replacing the original pages by
new corrected ones marked with date of issue and with abbreviation “REV”.
