Introduction

1 This manual provides step-by-step instructions for assembling and soldering a


5V voltage regulator circuit and diagram is shown below.
2 The IC used for the voltage regulator is LM7805 and its pin diagram is shown
below.

Basic Instructions for getting starting with soldering
Clean the iron rod by rubbing it onto the sponge before starting
soldering.(Make sure the sponge is wet/soaked with water).
Place the tip of the iron rod at the point to be soldered, as shown. Please
note that the tip of the soldering iron is slanted.

Apply solder wire at the point of contact of the rod.

You can bend and use the component legs for connections instead of using
wires.
