WHAT IS ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE?

AI is a form of Intelligence; a type of

technology and a field of study.
AI theory and development of computer
systems (both machines and software)
enables machines to perform tasks that
normally require human intelligence.
In other words, when a machine is able to
accomplish tasks on its own with the help
of its own learnings and experiences, it
becomes Artificially Intelligent.
AI, ML & DL

Artificial
Intelligence
Artificial Intelligence - Any technique that
enables computers to mimic human
Machine intelligence.
Learning
Machine Learning - A subset of AI that
enables machines to improve at tasks with
experience.
Deep Deep Learning - A subset of ML that
Learning
enables software to train itself to perform
tasks with vast amounts of data.
INTRODUCTION TO AI DOMAINS

CONCLUSION

Despite AI’s promises to bring forth new opportunities, there are certain
associated risks that need to be mitigated appropriately and effectively. To
give a better perspective, the ecosystem and the socio-technical environment
in which the AI systems are embedded needs to be more trustworthy.
