Position: Project Manager

ASA International provides small loans ranging from USD 250 to USD 2,000. Almost all
customers are women that run small businesses, from small shops, restaurants, sewing
businesses, to various trading activities and cottage industries.

Job profile
Project Manager is a mid-level position responsible for managing medium to large size project
within ASA International and across the various ASA countries. Relevant Projects at this stage
are related to Mobile Money integrations, HR systems and Security Operations Centre

Responsibilities
▸ The Project Manager is responsible for End-2-End implementation, including business
implementation activities.
▸ Setup of Project Management Governance (PMT, Project Board) for each project,
involving - where applicable - IT Streams, Vendors and country implementation lead with
weekly reporting on status, progress, attention points and dependencies.
▸ Manage Risk & Issue log and align issue resolution with vendors, branch readiness lead
and Sr Management.
▸ Prepare documents, progress reports and minutes for Project Board.
▸ Create the IT delivery planning (& migration) in alignment with developers and vendors
& monitor progress.
▸ Prepare UAT and Business Implementation plan in alignment with Branch Readiness lead
▸ Setting up Project Goals and coming up with plans to meet those goals.
▸ Setup and manage Project Document repository.
▸ Use Project Management tools to track project activities.
▸ Manage project stakeholders across the various countries.
▸ Coordination with internal and external parties.

Education and Experience:


▸ Bachelor in Computer Science or Information Technology.
▸ Relevant Project Management certification like Prince2, PMP or Agile.
▸ Experience of 3-5 years in project management.
▸ Experience in medium to large scale projects with senior management stakeholders
across multiple locations.
▸ Not just IT driven; rather comprehend the requirements and goals of project in relation to
goals of the company.
▸ Analytical and problem-solving skills to handle any issues that occur during project
completion.
▸ Proficiency in English, Excellent communication skills, Self-starting attitude, Being culturally
sensitive.

Reporting line
PM shall report to the CDIO stationed in the Netherland Corporate Head Office of ASA
International Group.

Salary
Negotiable based on job profile and experiences.
