<p>Founded in 1967, the University is one of the premier educational institutions in the country
offering a wide range of academic courses and specializing in the medical and healthcare degree
programs. It is a non-sectarian institution granted autonomous status by the Commission on Higher
Education (CHED). Our degree programs are accredited by the Philippine Association of Colleges and
Universities.</p>
<p>OLFU has a longstanding and deep commitment to provide services and facilities centered
towards its growing population of students. Studying at OLFU allows students to experience a learning
journey which has a strong sense of identity. With its vision of “Improving Man as Man,” the
University instills in each student an atmosphere of academic excellence together with the social role
and responsibilities essential to a holistic development of successful professionals.</p>
<p>Since the beginning of the COVID-19 Pandemic, OLFU has been utilizing an online enrollment
process to ensure the safety of enrollees and at the same time provide a convenient way for aspiring

<p><h4 style="color: green;">The College of Medicine is one of the flagship colleges of the Our Lady
of Fatima University (OLFU). Since its inception in 1979, the College has continuously developed its
way of teaching along with its acquisition of state-of-the-art learning resources and equipment to be
able to provide the best quality education in the field of Medicine.
</h4>
<p>Today, students of the College of Medicine reap the full benefits from OLFU’s world-class learning
platforms and resources which are paired with state-of-the-art facilities and laboratories—all
delivered by a competent teaching faculty through a masterful mix of learning modalities: online,
distance or, when health conditions permit, face-to-face learning.
<p>It is also noteworthy that OLFU is one among a few select schools to be granted the Certificate of
Authority by the CHEd, allowing it to conduct limited face-to-face classes in the midst of the COVID-19
pandemic; a testament to the University’s established and effective community safety protocols.

<p>Proving yet again its merit in the world academic standard, Our Lady of Fatima
University (OLFU) secured another global recognition as eminent Quacquarelli-Symonds (QS) Stars
conferred on OLFU Four Stars, and rated the University for its excellence.
<p>Following the “rigorous and independent data collection and analysis” of the QS
Intelligence Unit, a compiler of QS World University Rankings, OLFU at its first attempt easily satisfied
the performance metrics set out in the QS Stars methodology.
<p>Specifically, OLFU through its holistic academic strategy, professional program
and linkages sealed the coveted Five-Star ratings under categories such as Academic Development,
Social Responsibility, and Employability.
<p>Moreover, the University also managed to rake in Four Stars in core criteria
including Facilities, Teaching, Medicine and Inclusiveness.
<p>This early, OLFU has already been cited by the same recognition body, earning
Three Stars for its move towards Internationalization, a direction that the University is seen to be
aggressively leading with partnerships inked between leading academic institutions in Asia.

<p>Eyeing for objective scoring, QS Stars as an international education network and
analytics provider uses critical categories that “assess universal, core strengths – including some that
are overlooked in other university assessments and rankings.”
<p>In May 2023, it can be recalled that the “Home of Topnotchers” also launched
into the stringent World University Rankings for Innovation (WURI) after intensive competition this
year, earning spots in both Top 50 Fourth Industrial Revolution Awardees for 2023 and the
distinguished Global Top Innovative Universities (Top 101-200).
<p>Simply put, this expanding streak of global nods is a testament of OLFU’s
stronger commitment to Rise to the Top!
<p><b>UPDATE:</b> With the official announcement made in July of 2023, the
Dean of the College of Hospitality and Institutional Management (CHIM) and the College of Business
and Accountancy (CBA), Dr. Ignacio C. Cordova Jr., personally graced the QS Higher Ed Summit: Asia
Pacific on November 7 to 9, 2023 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia to accept the formal certification of the
said accolade on behalf of University President Dr. Caroline Marian S. Enriquez.

<br>The Asia-Pacific Quality Network (APQN) vouched for Our Lady of Fatima
University (OLFU) when the international body recently commended the institution’s quality
assurance measures during the APQN’s Academic Conference (AAC) and Annual General Meeting
(AGM) on November 2-4, 2023 in Dhaka, Bangladesh.
<br>For this year, the APQN presented OLFU with the Best/Model Internal QA
Award, acknowledging the best practices of the University “to quality assurance mechanisms and
quality culture building.”
<br>Outsmarting the challenges especially during the COVID-19 pandemic, APQN
recognizes the vision and thorough preparation of OLFU in maximizing its digital area of quality
assurance that is now considered “an innovative and reliable approach” to revolutionize the
operations of higher education institutions (HEIs) in the Asia Pacific Region.
<br>Designing the Internal Quality Assurance (IQA) in the academic landscape
establishes the clear needs of the students and industry, and OLFU did just that with its practices
deemed effective and best among neighboring institutions.
APQN is the largest and most influential international organization on higher
education in the Asia-Pacific Region. Since 2013, it has been facilitating its quality awards to recognize
and determine remarkable contributions and best practices of member institutions and individuals.
The international confab was hosted by the American International University-
Bangladesh (AIUB) which zeroed in on the overall theme, “Innovation and Sustainable Development in
