BOARDING REQUIREMENTS

What are the pre-cruise testing

requirements for my cruise?
A
Pre-cruise testing is no longer required to sail, with a few exceptions.
At this time, only the following sailings have pre-cruise testing
requirements:

 Transpacific Sailings ending in Australia

 Cruises from Australia

For Transpacific Cruises ending in Australia

All guests age 12 months (1 year) and older must bring a negative test
result for a COVID-19 test taken no more than 2 days prior to sailing.

Required testing can be completed using any type of PCR or antigen

COVID-19 test. It can be professionally proctored at your doctor or
drugstore, or it can be a test you administer to yourself at home without
supervision.

Guests under 1 year of age do not have any testing requirements.

Please note: A guest is considered fully vaccinated 14 days after the

required number of doses in their vaccine series have been fully
administered (e.g. 2 shots of Pfizer, Moderna, AstraZeneca, etc., or 1 shot
of Johnson & Johnson). Vaccines must be approved for use by the World
Health Organization (WHO), with the exception of CanSino.

For Cruises from Australia

All guests aged 2 and above, regardless of vaccination status, must present
a negative test result for a COVID-19 PCR test taken within 2 days before
boarding day, or a self-administered Rapid Antigen Test (RAT) within 1 day
before boarding, for sailings of any length.

Required testing for all guests can be completed using a PCR test
administered at a private laboratory, or any self-administered Rapid Antigen
Test (RAT). Rapid Antigen Tests are not required to be administered under
live video supervision.

You will be required to present the negative test result at the time of
boarding. You can show it in the form of a printout or email if taking a PCR
test. Or if taking a RAT, you can show a picture of your negative RAT test
on your phone, or present the actual negative test itself.

Guests under 2 years of age do not require testing.

Please note: A guest is considered fully vaccinated 14 days after the

required number of doses in their vaccine series have been fully
administered (e.g. 2 shots of Pfizer, Moderna, AstraZeneca, etc., or 1 shot
of Johnson & Johnson). Vaccines must be approved for use by the
Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA).

How do I figure out which days I should get my pre-

cruise COVID-19 test?
First, make sure you understand Test Requirements for your specific
sailing. The timing for when you need to take your test can vary, based on
where you are sailing. Test requirements are in the sections above.

When calculating which days you can take your test, be aware that the day
you set sail is not counted as one of the days.

So, if your test is needed 3 days before you sail, you have the three full
calendar days before boarding day to take your test. If it’s needed 2 days
before you sail, you have the two full calendar days before boarding to take
your test.

For example, if you are setting sail on a Saturday, and you need to take the
test within 3 days, you can take your test on Wednesday, Thursday or
Friday. You can also take it on Saturday before arriving at the terminal, if
necessary, but we don’t recommend waiting until the last minute.

What vaccines are required to travel on a

Royal Caribbean cruise?
A
All guests must ensure that they are medically and physically fit for travel.
The Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and the World Health Organization
(WHO) provide guidelines as to which vaccinations are required in each
country. In many cases inoculations are recommended, but in some
circumstances, they are required by the country from which your cruise
departs or countries we visit. We recommend that you check with your
health care professional or a Travel Medicine Specialist certified by the
WHO for guidance. Other informational resources can be accessed on
the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention traveler's health website or
by calling toll-free (877) FYI-TRIP and on the World Health Organization
website.

COVID-19 Vaccination is no longer required to sail,

with a few exceptions. At this time, only the
following sailings have COVID-19 vaccination
requirements:
Guests age 12 and older must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 in
order to sail:

 Cruises from Australia Learn more about cruising from Australia

 Transpacific Sailings ending in Australia
Vaccines that are fully approved or authorized for emergency use by
the World Health Organization (with the exception of CanSino), and the
European Medicines Agency (EMA), will be accepted by the ports we sail
to. For guests sailing from Australia, vaccines must be approved by the
Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA).

To be considered fully vaccinated by the countries we visit:

A guest is considered fully vaccinated 14 days after the required number of

doses in their vaccine series have been fully administered (e.g. 2 shots of
Pfizer, Moderna, AstraZeneca, etc., or 1 shot of Johnson & Johnson).
Vaccines must be approved for use by the country they are sailing from.

We strongly recommend that fully vaccinated guests also get a booster

dose when they become eligible to do so.

What travel documents are required to

board?
A

In order to board the ship, guests will need to bring

the following documents:
 COVID-19 Test Result (if applicable): Guests on transpacific
sailings ending in Australia and sailings from Australia, will need to
take a pre-cruise test prior to boarding day. See testing requirements
for your cruise here.

 Health Status Questionnaire: to be completed on the Royal

Caribbean app before you board.

 Government Identification: Accepted forms of identification vary

based on nationality, departure port and disembarkation port. See
details below to learn what forms of identification are accepted.

 COVID-19 Vaccination Record Card and Forms (if

applicable): While COVID-19 vaccination is not required for most
sailings, a few countries still require vaccination to cruise. On sailings
from Australia, guests age 12 and older will need to show proof of full
vaccination in order to board. Some countries require you complete
COVID-19 related travel authorizations before setting sail. Learn
more.

 Travel Visas (if applicable): Visa requirements vary depending on

nationality and the country you are sailing from, see guidance here.

Accepted Forms of Identification

All guests will also need a form of identification to board the ship.
Accepted forms of identification vary based on nationality,
departure port and disembarkation port.

Please note that hospital Birth Certificates (baby feet Birth

Certificates), as well as photocopies or images of any required
travel documents are not accepted for boarding.

Accepted Identification for U.S. Citizens

 U.S. Passport book that is valid at least 6 months after your cruise
ends. A U.S. Passport book is required for sailings that depart
from homeports outside of the U.S.
 For sailings departing from U.S. homeports, an official US state-
issued Birth Certificate is also accepted. Guests age 16 and older that
present an official US state-issued Birth Certificate will also need to
provide a valid Driver’s License or picture ID issued by the
government.

 U.S. citizens may use Enhanced Driver’s License (EDL) as a single

form of documentation (instead of both birth certificate and picture ID)
for sailings departing from U.S. homeports. Enhanced Driver's
Licenses are only available from the following states: Michigan,
Minnesota, New York, Vermont and Washington State. Please note
that an Enhanced Driver’s License is different from a REAL ID
compliant id. An EDL will have a flag on the front.

 Puerto Rican citizens should review their birth certificates and

ensure they are up to date. Puerto Rican birth certificates issued prior
to July 1, 2010 are not valid forms of proof of citizenship. The
Government of Puerto Rico has partnered with document provider
VitalChek to provide an expedited method for ordering new birth
certificates. To apply through this method please
visit: [Link]. Vital Check also offers a bilingual call
center available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Processing and
shipping fees apply. To apply through this method please call: (866)
842-6765.

 United States Permanent Residents must have a United States

Permanent Resident Card. Additionally, a passport from your home
country is strongly recommended. Click here for additional
information.

 For all sailings that visit Colombia, all guests will be required to
present a passport book valid for at least 6 months after the sailing’s
return date in order to board. Colombian Customs and Immigration
requires all visitors to have a valid passport book and will not accept
any other travel documents for entry. Unfortunately, any guests
without a valid passport book will be denied boarding.

No refunds will be given to individuals who fail to bring proper

documentation.

For additional United States passport information visit the United

States Department of State travel information website. Visa Central is
the passport and visa service that we recommend, should our guests
need passport and visa assistance. You may contact Visa Central for
all your passport needs. Visa Central can obtain passports in as little
as one day. US Residents, please contact VisaCentral online,
email rci@[Link] or call 800-858-8579, and be sure to
reference Royal Caribbean account 44988 for reduced service fees.

Accepted Identification for International Guests (non-U.S. Citizens)

 For US Sailings: Non-US Citizens will require a passport valid at

least 6 months after your cruise ends and the necessary visa for entry
into the United States. On Transatlantic and Transpacific sailings
European and Chinese guests will require ESTA (Europe) and EVUS
(China). ESTAs are mandatory for everyone travelling to the US. You
must apply for an ESTA no later than 72 hours before departing for
the United States. Real-time approvals are not available and arriving
at the airport without a previously approved ESTA will likely result in
being denied boarding.

 For International Sailings: Non-US Citizens will require a passport

book valid at least 6 months after your cruise ends and the supporting
visa for entry and exit from the country, if applicable.
o For cruises departing Australia calling into only Australian
ports, Australian citizens require either a valid passport or
government issued pictured and laminated ID card to be used
as identification. Children aged 17 years and under will require
a passport or Birth Certificate to travel or government issued
photo ID. Children under 16 years of age, who do not have a
passport or Photo ID, must have a copy of their birth
certificate or their parents Medicare Card.
o For all other nationalities, a passport (plus visa if needed in
Australia) is required.

 Europe sailings: National ID cards issued in the European Union

(EU) & European Economic Area (EEA) are accepted for travel to
Schengen countries only and must be valid for at least three months
from the return date. Some itineraries may include a port of call
outside the Schengen area. For those sailings, national ID cards will
not be accepted, and passports are required for travel.
o EU countries: Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Republic of
Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France,
Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania,
Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania,
Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain and Sweden.
 UK citizens (including children and infants) must have
their own full 10 year (5 year for children) passport with at
least 3 months validity from the end of the cruise on
sailings in the EU (Schengen area). On sailings leaving
the EU (Schengen area): passport must be valid for 6
months after return home.
 For further passport, visa and health advice for your
destinations please visit the FCO (UK) or DFA (Ireland)
websites, have a look at our visa page* or refer to our
Booking Conditions.

Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway. Switzerland is not an EU or
EEA member but is part of the single market.

should our guests need passport and visa assistance. You
may contact Visa Central for all your passport needs. Visa Central can

665-9956, and be sure to reference Royal
Caribbean account 10026 for reduced service fees.

No refunds will be given to individuals who fail to bring proper

documentation.

What if the name on my identification doesn’t match the name on my

reservation?

It is important that the name on your reservation be exactly as it is

stated on your passport or other official proof of nationality. If your
name has changed since your document was issued (e.g., marriage or
divorce), it is required that you update the document with the new
name or provide an official supporting document (e.g., a state, county
or province issued marriage license, divorce decree or legal name
change document) of the name change. All documents must be the
original or a notarized copy. Additionally, if you are using an
identification (e.g., driver's license) and a citizenship document (e.g.,
birth certificate), then BOTH documents must match the name on your
reservation. Otherwise, it may result in delay or possible denial of
boarding.

COVID-19 Vaccinations Record Cards and Forms

For sailings from Australia, guests age 12 and up are required by
the local governments to provide proof of vaccination before boarding.
Guests age 12 and older on these sailings who are not vaccinated and
do not show proof of vaccination will not be permitted to sail. For all
other sailings, vaccination documents will not be required to board,
but we will ask that you disclose your vaccination status to us prior to
boarding (via the app, on our website, or at the terminal).

Learn more about sailing from Australia.

We recommend you bring your vaccination documents with you, as

local authorities or businesses in some destinations require it for

board my cruise ship?
A
Guests should arrive at the terminal within the arrival time slot you selected
during Royal App check-in. Those who arrive early will not be able to begin
boarding, and those who arrive late will need to wait until we are able to
work them into another group.

Due to government regulations requiring cruise lines to submit final

departure manifests at least 60 minutes prior to sailing, guests are
requested to complete Check-in no later than 3 days prior to their cruise. If
you do not complete Check-in 3 days prior, you will be required to complete
this process at the pier at least two hours prior to the published sailing
time. Please note: All guests must be checked-in and onboard the ship
no later than 90 minutes prior to the published sailing time or you will
not be permitted to sail.

If you choose to fly ChoiceAir, Royal Caribbean automatically displays only

return home, you have the ability to select the flight that best suits your
schedule. Depending on your disembarkation time and port, the time
needed to arrive at the airport will vary.

Can I book back-to-back cruises at this

time?
A
Absolutely! We welcome guests to cruise on as many back-to-back cruises
as they wish.

Q
If I test positive for COVID-19 right before
my cruise or on the cruise, what is your
refund policy and what associated costs
are covered?

companions assigned to your stateroom on the cruise. Conditioned upon

Q
What if I am not feeling well in the days
leading up to my cruise? What if I test
positive for COVID-19 before my cruise?
A
If you feel ill in the days before your cruise, you should not travel. Keep in
mind you will need to answer a health questionnaire prior to boarding. A
positive test result, or documented symptoms of communicable disease
during the boarding process, will result in denial of boarding.

If your cruise departs on or before May 31, 2023, and you or any member of
your traveling party tests positive for COVID-19 in the 5 days before your
cruise departs, you and your traveling party will receive a refund
as outlined in our COVID-19 Assistance program.

We recommend guests purchase travel protection to cover any

interruptions to their travel plans such as illness and travel delays. Travel
protection is available for purchase through our Royal Caribbean Travel
Protection Program.

What happens if I get sick onboard a

Royal Caribbean cruise ship?
A
If any of our guests or crew members ever feel unwell during their sailing,
they can be immediately evaluated by medical staff, with an in-stateroom
visit or by video tele-consultation. A multitude of evaluative tests can be
conducted right onboard in our medical lab. This is just one capability of our
enhanced Medical Center.

In the interest of public health onboard, isolation and/or quarantine may be

required to prevent exposure to people who have or may have any kind of
infectious disease. A guest that is diagnosed as having an infectious
disease by a member of our medical staff onboard will need to isolate
onboard for a period of time — either until they can be safely disembarked
at a port of call with private transport home, or when the sailing concludes
back at the home port where it started. Those guests who meet the
threshold to be deemed a close contact will need to meet necessary
quarantine and/or testing requirements based on their vaccination status.

Guests who must isolate due to an infectious disease diagnosis will remain
in their stateroom or be moved to a stateroom near the medical center
where medical staff and Guest Services will check on them regularly,
depending on availability. Complimentary amenities including room service
and WiFi will be provided.

Guests treated on board may request copies of their medical records by

faxing a completed request form to 786-264-9682.

What if my sailing requires vaccination

and I cannot get vaccinated due to a pre-
existing allergy? What if I am not
vaccinated for religious reasons? What if I
have recently recovered from COVID-19
and am not now eligible to be vaccinated?
A
Vaccination Accommodations Requests
For some sailings where local regulations require vaccination, such as
those sailing from Australia, we have adopted operational capacity
restrictions that restrict the number of guests we can carry who are not
vaccinated. This means vaccination accommodations are not available on
all sailings. Whenever we grant a vaccination accommodation, we reserve
the right to revoke it at any time.

Before requesting a vaccination accommodation,

there are several things to keep in mind
As you prepare to submit a request for vaccination accommodation, please:

 Submit your request at least 30 days prior to your cruise

departure date or even earlier if possible.
 Be aware that we may not be able to process requests
submitted less than 14 days to sailing.

 Be aware that approvals or denials for vaccine accommodation

may be issued up to 2 weeks prior to sailing or later.

 Wait for a response to your request before booking travel

arrangements such as flights and hotel accommodations. Royal
Caribbean is not responsible for any travel-related expenses
incurred by you or members of your traveling party should your
request be denied.

How to submit a vaccination accommodation

request

accommodation, please send an email
to vaxaccommodations@[Link]. You can also have your local travel

Check-In

Why is check-in not available for my

cruise? When will it be available?
A
We are working to uplift our check-in experience to support a healthy and
safe cruise for all guests, crew, and communities where we operate. Check-
in will be available once our updates are completed ahead of your sailing.
We will notify you by email and by app notification on your mobile device
when it is time for you to check-in to your cruise.

When can I check-in for my Royal

Caribbean cruise?
A
PLEASE NOTE: We are hard at work uplifting our cruises for the health and
safety of our guests, crew, and the communities in which we operate. We
are guided by the recommendations of our Healthy Sail Panel and the
requirements of countries where we sail. For guests of scheduled sailings,
we will provide clear communication about what you need to know for our
cruises in advance of your sail date, including check in dates, health and
safety information, app notifications and all of the activities available
throughout your cruise. Our cruise check-in window opens closer to
your sailing date, which differs from our traditional check-in timeline.

When it’s time to check in, we recommend you use the Royal Caribbean
app to check in all guests on your reservation. The app provides a quick
and easy check-in process so you can start your vacation sooner. Updates
include:

 Your arrival time at the terminal - a scheduled arrival time at the

terminal on your sail date
 The required Health Questionnaire – only available in advance in the
app
 Our reimagined Safety Briefing - Simply tap the Safety icon on the
homepage to launch the Safety Briefing, whether you’re in the
terminal or you’ve just stepped onboard, to complete the first steps of
the Safety Briefing before heading to your assigned Assembly
Station. Remember all guests must complete the Safety Briefing
before the ship can sail.
 Extended app check in window - Check in using the app until 8am the
morning of your sailing

As before, guests may also check in using our website up to 48 hours

before sailing. Guests must complete check in, however, using the app or at
the terminal. We highly recommend completing check in using the app for
the easiest, fastest, and complete check-in experience.

Royal Caribbean International requires guests to be checked in no later

than 60 minutes prior to the scheduled sailing time*. Guests arriving late will
not be permitted to sail.

When you Check-In at the terminal, show your SetSail Pass in the app to
the terminal agent to scan and complete the check-in process.

Q
How do I setup a Royal Caribbean
SeaPass or Onboard Expense Account?
A
An Onboard Expense Account, also known as your Seapass® onboard
account, is the cashless system used for all onboard purchases and
services. Depending on your ship, SeaPass cards are handed out at the
pier or will be in your stateroom waiting for you.

The account can be set-up with either a credit card, debit card or as a cash
account during check-in or at the pier. You can also add guests from your
stateroom or another stateroom as authorized purchasers on your account.
For each purchase made onboard the ship you will receive a receipt. A
preliminary statement will be delivered to your stateroom on the day prior to
the final morning of your cruise vacation for your review. A final statement
will be e-mailed to you shortly after departing the ship on the last day of
your cruise.

If you set up your account with a card, shortly after departing the ship on
the last day of your cruise, Royal Caribbean International® will
automatically post the final charge to your card on file. Guests on a cash
account will need to settle their statement onboard prior to disembarking.

Important Information:

Throughout the cruise, daily authorizations (holds) will be placed on your

card to ensure funds are available for your purchases. If you register a card
and change to another card or cash during your sailing, you may still see
holds on the original card. While the holds aren’t charges, they do reduce
your available balance. Most holds are released within 3 to 5 business
days, however, depending on your bank this may take up to 30 days. Royal
Caribbean International does not control how long the holds remain as the
length of time is determined by your financial institution.

Will holds be placed on my credit card

when I create an onboard account?
A
Yes. Just like some land-based hotels, guests can expect to see an initial
$99.75 pending charge or authorization on their credit card. This pending
amount is used to secure funds for anticipated onboard purchases.
Purchases made onboard over the initial $99.75 will generate additional
holds. While the holds aren’t charges, they do reduce your available credit.
Most holds are released by the time your cruise ends and final charges are
settled; however, some may take up to 30 days. Royal Caribbean
International® doesn’t control how long the holds remain, your bank or
financial institution determines the duration of these holds. If you register a
card and change to another card or cash during your sailing, you may still
see holds on the original card.

As of September 7th, 2022, the automatic service gratuity of $16.00 USD
per person, per day for guests in non-suites staterooms, or $18.50 USD per
person, per day for guests in Suites, will be applied to each guest’s
SeaPass account on a daily basis. The gratuity applies to individual guests
of all ages and stateroom categories. As a way to reward our crew
members for their outstanding service, gratuities are shared among
dining, bar & culinary services staff, stateroom attendants and other hotel
services teams who work behind the scenes to enhance the cruise
experience.

In the unlikely event that a guest onboard being charged the daily automatic
gratuity does not receive satisfactory service, the guest may request to
modify the daily amount at their discretion by visiting Guest Services
onboard and will be able to do so until the morning of their departure.
Guests who have pre-paid their gratuity will not see a daily charge during
their cruise.

The automatic daily gratuity is based on customary industry standards.

for your generous recognition of our staff.

hours before the sail date.

Travel Documentation

What should I consider when booking a

cruise visiting international ports?
A
Given the events over the last few years, having the proper travel
documents has been a considerable concern of many guests prior to
enjoying a carefree vacation. Passport, visa and inoculation regulations
may vary by destination and may change from time to time. For your
protection, your passport expiration date needs to be at least six (6) months
after the sailing termination date. It is the sole responsibility of the guest to
obtain and have available when necessary the appropriate valid travel and
health documents such as passports, visas, vaccination certificates, etc.,
that are necessary for air travel, disembarkation at the various ports of call
and re-entry into the appropriate country of origin.

Visa

Based on nationality, many countries still require an entry visa. It is the

guests' responsibility to identify and to obtain all the necessary visas before
commencing their cruise.

If your sailing includes a stop in Egypt, a visa is required for many

nationalities including US and Canadian citizens, but may not be the only
visa required for these sailings based on your nationality.

Suggestions on where to obtain visa information:

(1) U.S. Citizens can visit the U.S. Department of State Foreign Entry
Requirements.

(2) Canadian citizens can visit Foreign Affairs and International Trade
Canada.

(3) The Embassies (Consular Service Office) of each country on your

sailing itinerary

(4) The visa service of your choice, such as CIBT for specific visa
requirements, information, forms and fees that apply to your nationality

Consecutive Sailings

Guests on consecutive sailings must ensure they have the proper travel
documents for their entire cruise vacation.

For Russia

Note: All guests going ashore (even guests on shore excursions) must
provide a photocopy of their passport details (page with picture and
personal information) to the Russian Immigration Officials.

Guests who purchase any available shore excursion or arrange for an

independent car or van organized through Royal Caribbean Cruises in St.
Petersburg will not require a visa for Russia. Under such conditions, guests
will need to present (a) a valid passport (b) a Royal Caribbean Cruises tour
ticket and (c) one photocopy of passport page showing guest picture and
personal information to the Russian Immigration officer as they depart the
ship.
However, please note that without a visa, visitation is limited to the period of
the excursion and you will not be permitted to leave the ship outside of the
tour hours without a Russian Tourist Visa. Guests who wish to sightsee
independently or sightsee outside of Royal Caribbean Cruises' shore
excursion hours MUST obtain an individual Russian Tourist Visa before
leaving home. Russian Tourist Visas cannot be issued during your cruise.
Guests who have not purchased a shipboard organized shore excursion
and do not possess a valid Russian tourist Visa will not be permitted ashore
in St. Petersburg.

Guests with an Individual Tourist Visa must present (a) a valid passport (b)
Russian Tourist Visa (c) one photocopy of passport page showing guest
picture and personal information and (d) a confirmation letter or voucher
from your Russian tour company sponsoring your Russian Tourist Visa to
the Russian Immigration Officer as you depart the ship.

Russian Tourist Visa Sponsorship

Should you wish to obtain an individual Russian Tourist Visa, you will need
to be sponsored by a licensed Russian Tour Company. This company will
have to create a program and provide a voucher to the guests confirming all
the arrangements along with a reference letter which includes a visa
reference number. Once a visa has been issued, it needs to reference the
same Russian tour provider as the voucher confirmation. A Russia Tourist
Visa will not be accepted by the Russian Immigration official as valid
without a confirmation voucher for pre-arranged services.

Guests should consider the following when selecting a tour provider in St.
Petersburg:

1) The tour provider needs to be licensed to operate in Russia and

authorized to provide services to foreign visitors.

2) The tour provider must be authorized to issue Russian visa reference

numbers.

3) The tour provider should be authorized and have a permit to meet the
guest inside the Port of St. Petersburg. If the tour provider is not authorized
to enter the port area, you will be advised to meet them at the port
entrance, which is located approximately 3 miles from the ship.

The Russian Tourist Visa issued and stamped on your passport will only
apply to the referenced tour company, the person named on the visa and
for a specific travel date. The sponsor of each tourist visa is legally required
to be the provider of services for the guest named on the visa and will have
their license revoked if a visa holder is found ashore without a pre-arranged
activity.

The above requirements are subject to revision at any time without prior
notification to the cruise line. Once onboard the ship, adjustment to the
current regulations will be provided as we receive them from the Russian
officials. Please also be aware that these regulations can also be at the
discretion of the individual officers on duty on the day of arrival and may
vary at any time.

For Papua New Guinea

Guests will be able to secure visa onboard the vessel for a one-time fee of
less than $50 per person which will be charged to their onboard account.

For Cambodia and Vietnam

All nationalities require visas for Vietnam with the following exceptions:
Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, Philippines, Japan, Denmark,
Sweden, Finland and Norway.

All nationalities require visas for Cambodia with the following exceptions:
Singapore, Malaysia, Philippines and Laos.

Please Note: The following nationalities will find it extremely difficult to

secure a visa for Vietnam and Cambodia, whether through us or by
themselves; Pakistan, North Korea, Afghanistan, Iraq and Nigeria.

Inoculation/Health

We recommend that all guests, regardless of their sailing date check with
their health care professional or a Travel Medicine Specialist certified by the
WHO for guidance. Other informational resources can be accessed at
the Centers for Disease Control Traveler's Health website.

As detailed in our brochure, all guests must ensure that they are medically
and physically fit for travel. The Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and
the World Health Organization website. (WHO) provide guidelines as to
which vaccinations are required in each country. In many cases
inoculations are recommended, but in some circumstances they are
required.

reservation?

Guests age 12 and older on these sailings who are not vaccinated and

boarding (via the app, on our website, or at the terminal).

Learn more about sailing from Australia.

We recommend you bring your vaccination documents with you, as

local authorities or businesses in some destinations require it for

What forms of ID are required for minors

traveling on Royal Caribbean?
A
For U.S. citizens:
Royal Caribbean strongly recommends that all guests travel with a
valid passport.

For Round Trip cruises from the U.S. that DO NOT include Panama or
Colombia, U.S. citizens 17 and under will be able to present either an
original, notarized or certified copy of their birth certificate, or a
Consular Report of Birth Abroad issues by DOS AND a valid
Government Issued ID. Guests age 15 and under are NOT required to
have a photo ID, just the birth certificate. Note: Baptismal papers
and hospital certificates of birth are not acceptable. Voter
registration cards or Social Security cards
are not considered proof of citizenship.

For all other sailings, all U.S. citizens (17 years and under) will be
required to present a valid passport.

Additionally, if you are using an
identification (e.g., driver's license) and a citizenship document ( e.g.,
birth certificate), then BOTH documents must match the name on your
reservation. Otherwise, it may result in delay or possible denial of
boarding.

For Australian domestic sailings:

For Australian and New Zealand residents and citizens, children (17
years and under) will be required to present a laminated government
issued photo ID or passport. If the child does not have a photo ID, the
following will be accepted:

 Original birth certificate

 Certified copy of the birth certificate
 Medicare card*

For Non-Australian or New Zealand residents & citizens, children (17

years and under) will be required to present a valid passport.
For International sailings:

All children (17 years and under) will be required to present a valid
passport.

For minors travelling with a non-legal guardian adult

Aside from a valid photo ID, a notarized letter signed by the child's
parent(s) authorizing the adult to take the child on the specific cruise,
supervise the child, and allow emergency treatment to be
administered, if needed. This is necessary even when the adult
traveling is part of the child's extended family (i.e. aunts, uncles,
grandparents, etc). Sample letter can be downloaded here.

*A Medicare Card can be used as the only identification for children when
all guests share the same last name. In the instance where the parents
name differs from the child, they would require an original or certified birth
certificate. The Medicare Card can then only be used to list the child and
parent are the same family proving guardian ship.

What family legal documents do I need to

board a Royal Caribbean cruise ship?
A
Should the last names of the parent and minor child traveling with them
differ, the parent is required to present the child's valid passport and visa (if
required) and the child's birth certificate (original, a notarized copy or a
certified copy). The name of the parent(s) and the child must be linked
through legal documentation.

Adults who are not the parent or Legal Guardian of any minor child traveling
with them are required to present the child's valid passport and visa or the
child's birth certificate (original, a notarized copy or a certified copy) and an
original notarized letter signed by at least one of the child's parents. The
notarized letter from the child's parent must authorize the traveling adult to
take the child on the specific cruise, must authorize guardian to sign legal
documentation/waivers for participation in any activities requiring them (i.e.
Rock Climbing, Flowrider, Bungee Trampoline, Inline Skating, or Ice
Skating) and must authorize the traveling adult to supervise the child and
permit any medical treatment that must be administered to the child. If a
non-parent adult is a Legal Guardian, the adult must present a certified
certificate of Guardianship with respect to the child.

Some countries require you complete

your passport or other official proof of nationality. If your name has changed
since your document was issued (e.g., marriage or divorce), it is required
that you update the document with the new name or provide an official
supporting document (e.g., a state, county or province issued marriage
license, divorce decree or legal name change document) of the name
change. All documents must be the original or a notarized copy.
Additionally, if you are using an identification (e.g., driver's license) and a
citizenship document ( e.g., birth certificate), then BOTH documents must
match the name on your reservation. Otherwise, it may result in delay or
possible denial of boarding.

Crown & Anchor Society Loyalty Program

How do I enroll in the Crown & Anchor

Society?
A
If you are a new guest, there is no need to sign up for Crown & Anchor
Society. You will be automatically enrolled after you complete your first
sailing with Royal Caribbean International (applies to US Residents).
Membership benefits begin after you have completed at least one Royal
Caribbean International cruise.

If you have sailed with us but are not yet enrolled, you can contact Crown &
Anchor Society at (800) 526-9723 to sign up before your next cruise. If you
are outside the U.S. and Canada, call (541) 285-9723. Hours of operation
are Monday through Friday, 9 AM-9 PM ET and Saturday through Sunday 9
AM-6 PM ET. Please be sure to have information about your previous
cruise(s) on hand: ship name(s), sail date(s), and booking number(s).

You can also visit the Loyalty Ambassador onboard to sign-up for the
program. Benefits begin after you have completed at least one Royal
Caribbean International cruise. If your email address is given, we will use
this to only communicate your Program benefits unless you opt-in to other
solicitations.
Q

What are Cruise Points for Crown &

Anchor Society loyalty program?
A
Cruise Points are the way you earn membership status in the Crown &
Anchor Society. You can earn one Cruise Point for every cruise night you
sail with us, and DOUBLE the points when you purchase a suite. For
instance, if you complete a 7-night cruise, you'll earn 7 Cruise Points, and
when you purchase a suite you'll earn 14 Cruise Points. Further terms and
conditions apply. Points are not recorded or applied until after you complete
your sailing. For example, if you are graduating from Gold to Platinum tier
level on your current sailing, you will not receive Platinum level benefits until
your next sailing.

Cruise Points are important if you are a member of the Crown & Anchor
Society because the more Cruise Points you earn, the more benefits you
enjoy. For a complete list of the membership levels and benefits of the
Crown & Anchor Society, check out our Member Benefits page in the
Crown & Anchor section the [Link] website.

Members of the Crown & Anchor Society are invited to join us for cruises
throughout the year at special savings not offered to the general public. You
can participate in members-only events and activities, receive exclusive
benefits, and socialize with other Crown & Anchor Society members. Visit
our Member Cruises section to read all about our recent cruises and for
more information on upcoming Member Cruises.

Why don’t I see my past cruises after

signing in to my account?
A
To view past cruises, sign in to your account and go to the “Past cruises”
tab, but bear in mind that cruises and points can take up to 10 days after a
cruise ends to display. If no cruises are listed, check that your loyalty
information is showing near the top of the Dashboard screen, and if it’s not
there, add your loyalty number. At this time, only Crown & Anchor Society
members are able to see past cruises on the website. Past cruises are not
listed in the app.

If you’ve added your loyalty number and you still aren't seeing all of your
cruises, email guestaccounthelp@[Link] for assistance. If you’re not a
Crown & Anchor Society member yet, you’ll be automatically enrolled after
your first cruise.

Anchor Society loyalty program?
A
Once you have completed your first cruise and become a Gold Tier Crown

online.

To ensure you receive all the benefits you deserve, it's important to always
provide your Crown & Anchor Membership Number when reserving your
cruise.

How do I view my Crown & Anchor Society

points and status?
A
We have updated guest accounts so you will now use the same sign-in to
view both your cruise bookings and Crown & Anchor Society benefits.
When you sign in to your account, we will automatically display your loyalty
points, status, benefits, and past cruises on your account Dashboard.

If your loyalty information is not listed, add your member number on either
the Dashboard screen or within Settings. If you still do not see your loyalty
details, email guestaccounthelp@[Link] for assistance.

How do I get credit for past Cruise Points

that have not posted to my Crown &
Anchor Society membership?
A
As a Crown & Anchor Society member, your level in the program depends
on the number of cruise vacations you have taken. To receive Cruise
Points, please contact the Crown & Anchor Society and have the following
information about your previous cruise(s) on hand: membership number,
ship name(s), sail date(s), and booking number(s). We require proof of
sailing to be able to add Cruise Points to your account.

Requests to add missing Cruise Points may be submitted up to 12 months

after the debarkation date of your sailing.

How do I get recognition for Royal

Caribbean loyalty points on other Royal
Caribbean LTD. brands?
A
If you are currently a member of each loyalty program, you will
automatically receive benefits based on your membership level between
each. For instance, if you are a Crown & Anchor Platinum or Emerald
member and a Captain's Club Classic member, you will be automatically be
entitled to the Select level in the Captain's Club. If you are a Diamond or
Diamond Plus member; you will automatically receive equivalent
recognition as a Captain's Club Elite member. The benefits of the programs
will stay independent, and the number of sailings a member accrues on
each brand will not be combined. You will earn the Cruise Credit or Cruise
Point for the brand you are sailing as long as you are a member of that
brand's loyalty program.

If you are a Captain’s Club Select, then you will receive Platinum benefits if
you sail on a Royal Caribbean ship. If you are a Captain’s Club Elite, then
you will receive Diamond benefits for the Crown & Anchor Society.

If you are a Platinum, Diamond or Diamond Plus member in the Crown &
Anchor Society but not a member of the Captain's Club and plan on sailing
on Celebrity Cruises, call the Loyalty Service Center at (800) 526-9723 to
enroll for equivalent recognition. And please remember to provide your
Membership Number whenever you reserve a cruise vacation to receive all
the benefits you deserve.

Anchor Member qualify for a free cruise?
A
As of January 21, 2011 our Diamond Plus members with 100 cruise credits
or more have been converted to our new Pinnacle Club tier level.
Complimentary cruises which previously started at 100 cruise credits for
Diamond Plus members, will now be available for Pinnacle Club starting at

sailing. A complimentary suite will be provided at 1400 Cruise Points and
every 350 thereafter. Price of cruise fare is included but taxes and fees not
included. See program details for other restrictions.

Q
Why does a Crown & Anchor member
receive a lapel pin?
A
It is important to us that our onboard staff be able to easily recognize you as a Crown &
Anchor Society member. While this information is on your SeaPass® card, by wearing
your CAS lapel pin, our onboard staff will be able to recognize you and provide the type
of service you expect as a returning guest and Crown & Anchor Society member.

Do I need to bring my Crown & Anchor

Membership Number on board with me?
A
It's important to always provide your Membership Number when reserving a
Royal Caribbean cruise vacation. Remind your travel advisor to include it.
After all, your Crown & Anchor Membership Number is the only way we can
make sure you receive all the recognition and benefits you deserve. So if
you forget to include your Membership Number when making a reservation,
you should bring it with you and provide it to the Loyalty Ambassador when
you're onboard the ship. Your tier will be automatically printed on your
SeaPass card if your number was included when making your reservation.

What are the Diamond Lounge access

benefits for Royal Caribbean Diamond
members?
A
The Diamond Lounge is an exclusive benefit for only Diamond, Diamond
Plus and Pinnacle Club members and cannot be extended to include
friends and family. Each lounge provides a Concierge to assist with any
special needs or requests during your sailing.
Packing & Luggage Tags

What should I pack for my Royal

Caribbean cruise vacation?
A
Personal Items:

We suggest that guests transport all their medications in their carry-on luggage to
minimize the potential for diversion or loss of medications and advise that all
medications remain in their original, labeled prescription containers. It is also
advisable to pack at least three days of extra medication in the event of an
unexpected change in the itinerary of the voyage.

Clothing:

When you’re on board, the right look will vary by venue. But here are a few types of
suggested attire you’ll see, grouped by occasion. Shoes should be low-heeled for
deck activities. Bring a few swimsuits (so you will always have a dry one). Ashore,
you’ll need comfortable walking shoes.

If you're cruising to the Caribbean, Mexico or other warm weather destinations, bring
a hat for protection from the sun. If your cruise vacation will take you to Alaska,
Canada & New England or Northern Europe, be sure to pack a jacket and several
sweaters.

Casual: You're on vacation – relax! Jeans, shorts, tees, tank tops, polos, sundresses
and blouses are all the right amount of laid back. Please keep swimwear to the Pool
Deck.

Smart Casual: Think of this as a step up from your typical dinner wear. Dress to
impress with jackets, sports coats, blazers, collared shirts, dresses, skirts and
blouses, or pantsuits.

Formal: Make it a night out in your best black-tie look – suits and ties, tuxedos,
cocktail dresses or evening gowns.

Last Night of Cruise: Bring an overnight bag for your last night at sea. Staff will collect
your luggage the night before disembarkation and you will need an overnight bag to
carry your nightclothes and toiletries.
Q

How do I get luggage tags?

A
The Royal guest document (eDocs - electronic document) we issue
includes a bag tag specific to the guest ship, sailing date, stateroom and
deck number. The bag tag also provides information on how it should be
used. In addition, generic bag tags are available at the pier on the day of
boarding.

What is the dress code onboard all ships?

A
When you’re onboard, the right look will vary by venue. But here are a few
types of suggested attire you’ll see, grouped by item.

 Casual: You’re on vacation – relax! Jeans, polos, sundresses and

blouses are all the right amount of laid back. Please keep swimwear
to the Pool Deck. Shorts are welcomed for breakfast and lunch.

 Smart Casual: Think of this as a step up from your typical dinner

wear. Dress to impress with collared shirts, dresses, skirts and
blouses, or pantsuits. Jackets, sports coats and blazers are snazzy
and welcomed.

 Formal: Make it a night out in your best black-tie look – suits and ties,
tuxedos, cocktail dresses or evening gowns. There can be 1-3 formal
nights during a sailing and is at the ship’s discretion.

Formal nights

Think of our formal dress code as a night out in your best black-tie look —
suits and ties, tuxedos, cocktail dresses or evening gowns are all
acceptable options. There can be 1 to 4 formal nights during a sailing and is
at the ship’s discretion. Our Chef’s Table dining experience also enforces a
formal dress code policy.

 3/4/5 night cruises - 1 formal night*

 6 and 7 night cruises - 2 formal nights*
 8 to 10 night cruises - 2 formal nights*
 11 to 14 night cruises - 3 formal nights*
 15 + night cruises - 3 or 4 formal nights*

*The number of formal nights is at the ship's discretion and can vary by

Main Dining Room/Specialty Dining Venues

 Bare feet are not allowed at any time in any venue and tank tops are
not permitted in the Main Dining Room or Specialty Dining venues for
dinner.

 Shirt and shoes are always required. Cover-ups should be worn over
bathing attire.

How much luggage can I bring onboard a

Royal Caribbean cruise ship?
A
Each guest is permitted to carry a reasonable amount of personal property
(including luggage) aboard the vessel; however, for your comfort and
convenience, it is recommended that you limit the number of pieces you
take. Each guest has the option to carry their luggage on board or check-in
luggage prior to boarding. Luggage may include suitcases, trunks, valises,
satchels, bags, hangers containing clothing, toiletries and similar items.
Here are some recommendations for packing only cruise essentials.

We recommend that guests personally carry any boarding documentation

such as passports, visas, citizenship documents and family legal
documents plus all medications. To minimize the potential for diversion or
loss of medications, we advise that all medications remain in their original,
labeled prescription containers. It is also advisable to pack at least three
days of extra medication in the event of an unexpected change in the
itinerary of the voyage. It is also a good idea for guests to pack a small
carry-on bag with a change of clothes, and bathing suit. That way they don't
have to wait for their checked bags to arrive in their stateroom.

Luggage may be locked only with a TSA approved lock.

Any carry-on luggage must be able to fit through the x-ray screening
machines. These machines vary in size from port to port, however generally
they are similar to those found at airport security check points. Guests
wishing to carry their luggage with them during boarding should note that
their stateroom may not be immediately available to store their luggage.

How do I request replacement luggage

tags from Royal Caribbean?
A
If you forgot your luggage tags at home, ship luggage tags are available
from our Porters at the pier on the day of boarding but to avoid any day-of-
boarding delays we recommend that you secure your Luggage Tags before
leaving home if you are a qualified guest.

When can I expect to get my luggage

once onboard?
A
Due to the high volume of luggage on embarkation day, luggage may arrive
after the sailaway. A specific time window for delivery as well as pick up*
locations will be posted in the Cruise Compass once you are onboard.
Times and location vary by ship and sailing.

* If your luggage was found to have any prohibited items, it will be placed in
a separate area for pick up.

If you did not receive your transfer vouchers with your travel documents,
you will be on the manifest and greeted at your arrival airport by one of our
representatives.

Q
What transportation options are available
to get to a Royal Caribbean departure port
terminal?
A
If you choose to make your own air arrangements or book air through our
online ChoiceAir Travel Program you may wish to purchase ground
transportation to the ship. Transfers are available for purchase from the
arrival airport to the pier on day of sailing and from the pier to the departure
airport on debarkation day only. It is recommended that transfers are
purchased two weeks prior to sailing. Please remember we require your
flight information in order to promptly meet all guests. To purchase your
Royal Caribbean Guest Transfer or for additional information consult your
travel advisor or our Reservations Department at (800) 327-6700.

Guests that are cruise-only (i.e., have not made air arrangements through
us) may also purchase this transfer service (called Royal connections)
separately.

If you are close enough (or you like road trips) you can also drive to the
departure port. Parking is typically available on a first-come, first-served
basis at most piers for a minimal fee. But every pier does vary.

What is Aloschi Brothers transportation?

A

partnered with Royal Caribbean to provide private ground transportation for
Rome and Venice, Italy ports. Aloschi offers both round trip and one-way
transfers from the airport and pier. Take your choice of sedan, SUV, and
bus service for your travel.

Book here when planning your next Italian cruise vacation or email
at transfers@[Link] with any additional questions.
Q

Can I join a Royal Caribbean cruise after it

starts or leave before it ends?
A
Royal Caribbean no longer allows cruise passengers to pre-plan early
debark or late embarkation for any of our ships.

What happens if I miss my boarding due

to travel delays?
A
Guests who miss their cruise due to travel delays can contact the
Emergency Travel Team (ETT) to discuss their options going forward. In
specific situations, when the guest has the proper documentation, it is
possible to join the cruise at the next port of call, but all options must be
discussed with ETT.

If you miss the departure of your trip due to carrier-caused delays or other
covered reasons, Royal Caribbean Travel Protection Program package of
benefits reimburses you for additional accommodations, meals and "catch-
up" transportation expenses. Otherwise, you are responsible for any
expense incurred to meet the ship at its next port of call. For this reason,
many guests find it is easiest to arrive a day prior to sailing and stay in a
hotel the night before to avoid any possible delays.

Does Royal Caribbean notify guests of

airline schedule changes?
A
When guests book their ticket though Royal Caribbean, the airline partners
advise us of schedule changes, we will contact guests via the email
address provided when the air reservation was confirmed with the updated
flight schedule that the airline has provided.

What time do I have to depart a Royal

Caribbean cruise ship?
A
On the final morning of a cruise experience in most countries all guests
must leave the ship before the guests joining the next cruise can board. In
most environments the latest time to leave the vessel will be between
10:00am and 11:00am. Each ship will provide an as you depart flyer with

What should I do before my cruise?

A
Here are some things you need to know about those moments just before
you hop onboard.

1. For the first day of your cruise, pack a small carry-on bag with your
travel documents, a change of clothes, bathing suit, workout clothes
and any medications you may need. That way you don't have to wait
for your checked bags to arrive in your stateroom to start having fun.
2. If you've never been to the departure port before, you can find and
print directions here.
3. We highly recommend that you take advantage of our Check-in which
is available up to 72 hours prior to your sailing. This way, you can
have the smoothest pier check-in and boarding.
4. Log in to your Cruise Planner on our website prior to your sailing to
book Shore Excursions, Dining reservations, and even entertainment
on select sailings. This way you can spend your first day onboard
exploring.
5. Royal Caribbean International requires guests to be checked in no
later than 60 minutes, sometimes 90 minutes, prior to the scheduled
sailing time*. Guests arriving late will not be permitted to sail. * Some
sailings may require an earlier check-in time.
6. Your luggage tags will be included in your Guest Ticket Booklet.
Please print as many copies as you need to make sure all your bags
have their own luggage tag. This will help us easily identify your bags
and have them delivered to your room while you explore the ship.

Onboard Internet

What internet options are available on

board Royal Caribbean cruise ships?
A
There are 2 options to stay connected while onboard.

1. VOOM Wireless Internet Access (Wi-Fi) All you need is a wireless device
with wifi capability.

2. Wired (iCafes) Internet stations are available onboard, the location of

which vary depending on the ship.

VOOM is available onboard all ships fleetwide. Prices for internet access
vary and are subject to change. Turn on Wi-Fi and connect to the guest
network.
Q

Can I use my Wi-Fi internet package at

Perfect Day at CocoCay?
A
Yes! Wi-Fi package purchased onboard or on Cruise Planner will be active
on the island.

What is VOOM and how much does it

cost?
A
VOOM is the name of our high-speed internet service, the fastest internet at
sea.

With the installation of VOOM, you are no longer confined to a specific

location on the ship to have connectivity. You can now stay connected from
the comfort of your own stateroom, while you lounge by the pool and even
while having a drink at the Schooner Bar.

VOOM is 6x faster than any other internet at sea! For the first time you will
be able to stream music and movies, upload pictures, video chat with family
and friends using FaceTime or Skype, check your email, look at your stock
prices, surf the web and stay connected with work.

Royal Caribbean is the only cruise line with high speed internet at sea.
Whether you have your phone, tablet, or laptop, VOOM allows guests to
stay connected. VOOM is available onboard all ships fleetwide. Each one of
our VOOM ships gets its signal directly from a satellite beam dedicated to
our ships that orbits close to the Earth, allowing us to offer fast and reliable
service.

The cost of VOOM varies by the number of devices and the service
package purchased. We recommend that guests purchase VOOM pre-
cruise to enjoy the biggest discount from onboard prices. Simply log in to
My Cruises, and go to Cruise Planner.
Guests who have a reservation with payment may also contact 1-800-
398-9819 for Pre-Cruise Planning Assistance.
