CAN interface configuration. General recommendations
1. CONFIGURATION
- To send data of outputs state to tracking platform, it is necessary to set the corresponding flag
in protocol settings.
- To control the output by command, it is necessary to configure the selected output (as the
example, O2 is shown):
“Use as” – Of general purpose
“Nature of control signal” – Permanent
“Secure blocking” - Off
“Delay after Line turning on” – 0 sec.
“Secure blocking”: if the flag is set, then by the command “Turn on the line”, the corresponding
input is activated only if the speed recorded by the navigation receiver is less than 20km/h.
ATTENTION!
If the navigation data are unreliable, the speed is going to be 0 km/h. The command to activate the
line is saved by the device until it is executed or until the first reboot of the device.
“Delay after Line turning on”: if the parameter value is 0, then the output is turned on immediately
after receiving the command “Turn on the line”, otherwise the output is only turned on after the

specified time.
2. CONNECTION
ATTENTION!
When triggered, negative signal appears on the outputs. When turned off, the negative signal
disappears (the output is in Z-state).
3. CONTROL
You can use SMS or GPRS commands to control the outputs.
SMS command format:
<line_number> <state>
or if the password is set on the tab “Systems settings” for SMS commands
<password> <space> <line_number> <state>
<line_number> - output number starting from 1;
<state> - the state to which the output must be transferred (Y-turn on, N-turn off).
Example of SMS command for O2 turn on:
2Y

or with password
pass 2Y
In a reply SMS the device will send its state, where in the line "O: xxxx" the state of the outputs
after the command has been executed.
For example, "O:NYNN":
O1 line - off
O2 line - on
O3 line - off
O4 line – off
GPRS command format:
*! <line_number> <state>
*! - special characters;
<line_number> - output number starting from 1;
<state> - the state to which the output must be transferred (Y – turn on, N – turn off).
Example of SMS command to turn on O2:
*!2N
4. VERIFICATION
To check the state of the output it is possible to do in “Telemetry” tab:
