Panel ventilation: 2 nos. of 510 CFM exhaust fan to be provided on the top. Ventilation
louvers shall be provided at the panel bottom side.

The capacitors & reactors shall be mounted (preferably in zig-zig manner) on a suitable
size frame for better ventilation.
13.0 Ambient temperature: Max. 50 deg. C
Panel manufacturing shall generally conform to latest Indian Electricity Rules with
14.0 provision for earthing, fully wired and painting. Suitable provisions for connecting the
earth flat on both sides of the panel (for double earthing) to be provided.

Technical catalogue furnishing the features of the controller and panel with all

Note :
1) GA drawings and bill of materials to be submitted for approval before
manufacturing of the panels.
2) Final inspection to be offered at works before despatch.
3) Complete installation of APFC panel will be carried out by BHEL and during
commissioning the vendor has to extend Supervision.

4) Vendor to provide support for programming the controller to suit the reactive
compensation and to impart necessary training to BHEL staffs.
5) Performance Guarantee for 12 months, from the date of commissioning of APFC panel
at BHEL, Trichy works.
6) Point by point confirmation is required from the supplier for technical evaluation
otherwise the offer will not be considered.
