Part 1

1. Do you like shopping?

- Yes, I do enjoy shopping but it’s only when I’m free, and especially when I’m
looking for something specific like it’s something that I need now or if I find a
good deal. It’s also a way for me to relax and take a break from my daily routine
because I think that shopping is fun.
2. Do you compare prices when you shop? Why?
- Absolutely, I always compare prices before purchase anything because Im a
student, I haven’t earn my own money yet and since all the things that I buy all
depends on my parents’ salaries, I really need to really compare prices. It
ensures me that I’m not overpaying for something that might be cheaper.
3. Is it difficult for you to make choices when you shop?
- Sometimes it can be difficult, especially when I’m not making myself a
shopping list or the products come wih so many options. I often find myself
considering a lot about the quality, the prices, etc and it makes the decision-
making process a bit challenging.
4. Do you think expensive products are always better than cheaper ones?
- Not really. While I really do believe that high prices come with good quality,
but it’s not always the case. I believe it’s important to consider the brand,
reviews, and other factors before deciding if something is worth the extra money.
For example, like when you’re bying a bag from some expensive commercial
brands but the quality might be the same with other bags out there in the
market which you can afford with a much lower price.

Asking for Help - Part 1

1. Do you ask for help when you have a problem?
- Not really. Sometimes I do feel afraid to speak up and ask because I’m scared
that I can make people feel annoyed and I’m afraid that it can takes up their
time when they resolve my problems even though I know that seeking
assistance can often help you deal with the problem quicker and better.
2. Why are teachers always willing to help students?
- I guess because it is simply their job’s requirement and they are trained to do
this before. And I believe that the purpose of teaching is to facilitate learning and
make it more interesting for students. They want to ensure that students
understand the material, able to succeed in their studies and be well-prepared
for their future.
3. What kinds of help do you often ask for?
- I often ask for help when I don’t understand something especially the lessons
that I take like difficult and complex concepts or when I need some clarification
on assignments. Sometimes, I also seek advice on time management or study
strategies from senior students or teachers.
4. When was the last time you asked for help?**
- Like I’ve mentioned before I’m quite shy and I’m scared of asking people for
help even though it is just a little advice so I guess the last time I asked for help
was around three to four months ago when I was still a 11th grade student, it
was me struggling with the final exam, especially in the maths subject. I reached
out to a friend who is good at math, and she were able to explain it to me in a
way that made sense which helps me a lot actually.

Part 2
So I’m gonna talk about a photo of mine that I love. Well it’s really difficult to find a
picture of mine to talk about and especially when I have to like it. I have to say, I
don’t really like the feeling of people taking pictures of me because I’m not really
photogenic. But there’s a time when a picture of mine was taken and that really
surprised me. So it was when I watch the firework on last New Year’s Eve. Our family
have the tradition to stay at home, watch the New Year’s TV programmes and stuff
like that but last year, we decided to break the rules and go outside to celebrate the
occasion together. It was wonderful and that’s when the picture of me passionately
watching the fireworks was born. So long story short, I just ejoying the light
performance and the display above the sky when my mom deliberately taking
pictures of me without me knowing. So when we went back home, my mom did
show me the photo and we were really surprised with the quality and the outcome
of the picture. It was taken so randomly but I really like this photo because it
captures a moment of pure happiness. The firework and the bridge in the
background is stunning, and I love how genuinely enjoyed, relaxed, carefree, and
happy I look in the picture. I guess because I wasn’t paying attention to much of the
photo-taking progress and that I was so engrossed in firework watching that make
the picture so special to me despite my not so photogenic face.
Part 3 - Photography and Art
1. Why do people take photos?
- Well, I guess there are so many reasons. Maybe simply because of their job as
a photographer who wants to take some really good pics and post online or take
photos to capture memories and moments that they want to remember. There
are so many things that photos an offers and allow us to relive experiences and
share them with others.
2. What do people use to take photos these days, cameras or phones?
- Well, definitely these days, most people use their smartphones to take photos
because they are convenient and always on hand. It is also really convenient and
easy to send too, just a few press and then your photos will be sent to your
beloved ones, this is especially come in handy when you’re on holiday and want
to share the special moment with your friends or family. However, some people
still use cameras, especially if they are interested in photography as a hobby or
profession and I can see that there are some young people who love the picture
effects on cameras more so they would also love to take photos on cameras.
Moreover, I think that some cameras are quiet expensive so it’s hard to find
people who use cameras for photo taking nowadays.
3. Is it difficult for people to learn how to take good photos?
- Taking photos is definitely easy when you’re just taking them for fun or for
your own liking but it can be challenging to learn how to take good photos.
However, I guess that with some practice and the right guidance, anyone can
improve and acquire the skills of taking good photos.
4. How do people keep their photos?
- People keep their photos in various ways, including digital storage like cloud
services, external hard drives, or on social media platforms. Some still print
physical copies and store them in photo albums.
5. What photos do people often hang on the wall at home?
- People often hang photos of family members, special occasions, or scenic
landscapes on their walls. These photos usually hold sentimental value and bring
a personal touch to their living spaces.
6. Is it necessary for students to learn art?
- I think it’s beneficial for students to learn art as it fosters creativity and helps
develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Art education also provides a
way for students to express themselves and appreciate different perspectives.
