Procedures in The Video
1. Teacher tells student about procedures and focuses on
vocabulary,
pronunciation and intonation.
2. Teacher asks them to go back homes or apartments
using mind eyes.
3. Teacher asks them to close their eyes to see their
homes vividly instead
of the classroom.
4. Teacher asks them to see the place where they live,
what’s around it,
what’s outside, feel the temperature and the smell and
see everything that goes with your homes.
5. Teacher lets them walk inside and go to different rooms
in their mind
eyes.
6. Ask them to see things in rooms, feelings and emotions
and people
who live in the house.
7. Ask them to turn to the person sitting next to another
and make pair
talking or group discussion.
8. Students describe their home and have the same
picture in other
person’s mind like the one and share experience.
9. Teacher asks them to come back to the classroom.
10. Teacher asks them to write a list of special words to
describe homes
and feelings as many as they can on a piece of paper.
Facts in the textbook and the video
The teacher talked about the goals and guidelines
while students were sitting in silence. The teacher asked
learners to reflect on what to discuss. Students
participated in a reflection period, in which they were
asked to express their feelings about the previous
experience with total frankness. The teacher formed the
class into facing lines for pair conversations to share their
experience.
