Vocational Scenario
“GreenC” is a company that is involved in sustainable construction and renovation
projects in Sri Lanka. They have planned and scheduled to start an office renovation
project named “Gisko” in Colombo on 1st January 2025. The project involves three key
stages including 1. Planning and Preparation, 2. Renovation and Construction, and 3.
Finalization and Inspection. The aim is to renovate an existing office space to improve
its functionality, aesthetics and sustainability. You are required to plan and schedule this
project using Primavera P6, considering only weekdays (Monday to Friday) as working
days.
Assignment activity and guidance
Instructions:
Question 1 (25 marks)
a. Create the Enterprise Project Structure (EPS) of “GreenC” company.
b. Under GreenC EPS, create a project named “Gisko”.
c. Create a global calendar named “5-day week” considering Monday to Friday as
working days and 8.00 am- 5.00 pm as working hours. There is one-hour intermediate
lunch break.
d. Assign “5day week” calendar as the “Gisko” project calendar.
e. Create project currency/ project rate as Sri Lankan Rupees (LKR).
Question 2 (25 marks)
a. Create Work Breakdown Structure elements for the project considering the three key
stages of the project.
b. Under each stage following activities are executed in the project. Create project
activities in Primavera P6 with their respective time durations.

Question 3 (25 marks)
a. Calculate the total float for each activity and identify the critical path activities in the
project.
b. Identify the activities that can be delayed by 2 days without affecting the total project
duration.
c. Assign the following resources to the respective activities.

the project progress to the data date 20th january.
