Reflection Paper

In this reflection paper, I will explore what I have learned from my experience with basic
accounting and MSME classification. The proper use of Microsoft Excel to make tasks easier in
financial analysis and reporting. 3 types of MSME classification are micro, small and medium
enterprises. And the next topic is the basic accounting the cycles etc. The webinar also showed
the definitions of BS (Balance Sheet), IS (Income Statement) / Profit and Loss, Cash Flow,
Break Even, and Trend Analysis. Before we moved on to the topic of MS Excel, the speaker
gave us exercises to answer because we would be using our answers later. Then, the speaker
showed us how to do it using MS Excel. He also taught us how to use basic shortcuts, as well
as the more advanced shortcuts that involve the "=" sign to access functions like VLOOKUP and
SUMIFS. We learned a lot from what he taught us because we can use these skills when we
start working. It also helps to reduce the workload, compared to manually computing and
encoding, especially when there's a way to make tasks easier and more efficient. These are the
things I learned, and I will carry them with me in the upcoming semesters and year levels, as
well as when I start working and using MS Excel. The speaker was great, and I learned a lot of
things that weren't taught to us even though we had a computer subject in Grade 11. Thank you
so much to the speaker.
