B. Lesson Proper
1. Activity
The class will be divided into four groups. Leaders of each group come in
front and pick their scrambled pictures. Assemble it and paste it in a
manila paper and then post it on the board. They will have 5 minutes to
do their task.
2. Analysis

o What are your thoughts about it?
o Do you have any idea of what is going to be our topic for today?
3. Abstraction
Digital Art- is an artistic work or practice that uses digital technology.
Digital Painting- shows an emerging art form in which traditional painting
techniques such as water color, impasto, and oils are applied using digital
tools by means of computer, a graphic tablet and stylus, and software.
Digital Painting Traits:
Sharp and bold appearance
Transparency
Exact repetition
Perfect circles, squares and 3D illusion
Perfectly smooth gradients
Absence of brushstroke
Effects of automatic transformation
Non- digital Painting- is a process of creating artwork on a flat surface
with line and tone with the following common mediums for painting; pencil,
color, brushes, paint and something to paint on like rocks, paper, and
canvass.
Line- a line in arts is primarily a dot or series of dots.
Shape- is defined as having some sort of outline or boundary, whether the
shape is two or three dimensional.
Color- is the visual perception seen by the human eye.
Value- degrees of lightness or darkness.
Form- gives shape to a piece of art, whether it is the constraints of a line in a
painting or edge of the sculpture
Texture- can be rough or smooth to the touch, imitating a particular feel or
sensation.
Space- is the area around the focal point of the art piece and might be
positive or negative, shallow or deep, and open or close.
Pattern- is the repeating of an object or symbol all over the work of art.
Proportion- is the feeling of unity created when all parts (sizes, amounts,
or number) relate well with each other.
Emphasis- is the part of the design that catches the viewer’s attention.
Balance- is the distribution of the visual weight of objects, colors, textures,
and space.
Repetition- works with pattern to make the work of art seem active. The
repetition of elements of design creates unity within the work of art.
Movement- is the path the viewer’s eye takes through the work of art,
often to focal areas.
Rhythm- is created when one or more elements of design are used
repeatedly to create a feeling of organized movement.
Unity- is the feeling of harmony between all parts of work of art, which
creates a sense of completeness.
Variety- is the use of several elements of design to hold the viewer’s eye
through and around the work of art.
4. Application
Instruction: Look around you. Each group will create their own artwork
through illustrating a digital painting/ graphic design (poster) using new
technologies. You will have 15 minutes to do your task.
