Project: Master Data Management (MDM)
Master data management is a project where a golden copy of a master data is created, which represents the
single trusted source of truth. This golden copy serves as the reference point for all data related activities within
the aviation organization Framework has three layers: source systems layer MDM implementation layer and
consumption layer. The data push from source system to MDM Layer is done through batch jobs and
Webmethods integration services where I resubmit the failed transactions from Webmethods and monitor the
informatica jobs. The data in the MDM landing tables go through data cleansing and standardization rules are
applied and loaded into staging tables then to the base object table. The duplicate records are then consolidated
to make a golden copy which is available in MDM IDD user interface accessible by the business and has a
downstream to the data warehouse- AWS Redshift.
