Role: The Trainees will be onboarded as ‘Apprentices’ for a period of 6 months as per the
Government guidelines under the Apprentices Act. After successfully completing the training
period and clearing the post-training evaluation, Trainees will be offered the role of DevOps
Engineer.
Responsibilities of DevOps Engineer:
● Set up, optimize and manage end to end infrastructure on leading Cloud platforms for web
applications built on different technologies like Java, PHP, Ruby, Python, .Net etc on leading
cloud providers AWS, Azure, GCP and Alibab or Hybrid.
● Design scalable and secure architecture for infrastructure setup.
● Leverage leading DevOps tools like Chef, Puppet, Docker, Ansible, Jenkins, Terrafrom, or cloud
native tools etc. for end-to-end infrastructure automation.
● Automate code releases and redundant tasks using Shell/Python scripting.
● Collaborate with the client and development team for continuous performance and cost
optimisation.
● Identifying and mitigating all application and server vulnerabilities and ensuring end to end
security of application, infrastructure and cloud.
● Configure automated backups and ensure disaster recovery of complete infrastructure.
● Contribute to the community through blogs, whitepapers, knowledge sharing sessions,
screencasts, webinars and publishing articles.
Compensation:
Trainees will be given a stipend of INR 15,000 per month for 6 months. Salaries of the Trainees who
are offered the role of a DevOps Engineer, will be revised to INR 6,00,000 per annum after
successful completion of Training.
